I bring strong animal-care experience from many veterinary clinics, where I assisted veterinarians with exams, blood draws, vaccination preparation, restraint, sample collection, and monitoring behavior and health. I also performed daily husbandry tasks, communicated with owners, and supported animals through stressful clinic visits. I have additional experience with dog-sitting, pet boarding, equine care, and handling high-energy working breeds, along with administering oral medications, maintaining feeding schedules, and providing enrichment. My focus is always safety, consistency, and ensuring pets feel secure and comfortable while their owners are away.

Makayla was great! Lucy seemed very content and stress free which is a huge concern for me when leaving her with someone. Makayla updated me regularly and Lucy was doing great! Will definitely book with her again. She will take very good care of you pet!

Makayla is awesome! My dog can be hesitant around new people but immediately warmed up to her which I immediately recognized as a win.
