***I'm a dog trainer and will work with you on training and lessons if you are interested please let me know!*** I grew up with a family dog in my house and have been around them all of my life. I am a dog trainer with over five years training and owning dogs. I am a balanced trainer so I train based on what works for you and your dog! I worked as a kennel tech for a vet clinic in the past so I am experienced in proper leash walking dogs of many sizes, administering medications, bathing and other healthcare. I have also trained many anxious and reactive dogs so I know how to safely handle any pets with behavioral issues and make them feel as comfortable as possible (and potentially even work on those issues)! I also volunteered at Kitty Kat Haven regularly and own several cats. I own extra kennels, beds, bowls, leashes, and toys. I do own a litter box and my dog is very cat friendly and is trained to ignore a cat or dog if I tell her but will play with any dogs that want to! My cats are used to many different dogs and have even made friends with most dogs I have boarded in the past.

Madi took excellent care of our dogs, Sadie and Arlo. It’s clear she’s great with dogs and has had a ton of experience. We got updates and pictures throughout their stay with her, and they seemed very happy and tuckered out when they came home.
I cannot leave enough positive feedback for Madi! She’s an excellent person to watch your pups while you’re away & even work in it as a profession too. You can’t ask for much more. From the meet & greet, I knew my dogs would be in the best of hands. Madi watched my Aussie & Swiss Shepherd while I was abroad for a couple of weeks. She sent me updates every 3-5 days with pictures included. What’s more, I knew my pups would be well taken care of, but didn’t expect this level of care & excellence! Madi walked them regularly, gave them treats, & even brushed/cleaned them too. It’s far more than I expected & appreciated it immensely. Shes quick to respond, & understanding if you’re wanting to check in with multiple folks & options. I’ll be using her again anytime I’m away & need someone to look after my dogs & you should consider her as well!

We are very pleased with Madi's care of our senior dog, Theo. She didn't mind giving him meds and eye drops daily. She sent us updates and pictures. We felt that Theo was happy and well taken care of. Theo did not seem to have any separation anxiety issues and played well with the other dogs. 100%
My dogs had a wonderful time with Madi! Madi was super professional through the whole experience and made us comfortable by doing a meet and greet with her dog first. We received lots of great action shots of our girls playing and enjoying their time during their stay. When we picked them up they were happy and healthy and clearly loved spending time with Madi and they both kept going up to her for more pets instead of wanting to leave. We will definitely be trusting our girls with Madi again!
Madi went above and beyond caring for my girl, Ruby. She calmed my nerves and I had no concerns about Ruby’s care while I was out of town.

Schedule
I am starting a dog training business. That means that I am home part time (usually only gone for 4 hours a day. I am able to take puppies that are still potty training and keep them on track as well as keep a high energy dog exercised.

My environment is built for proper care for dogs and cats. Being a dog training, my home is safety conscious first and fun a close second. My goals is to make sure your pets needs are met. I want to make sure we meet exercise and enrichment needs so your pet is happy and healthy!

A typical day
We will go on walks in my neighborhood and sometimes parks. My dog is very playful and I have frequent playdates with friends' dogs to a park to play.
