Hi! I’m Kenzie, an animal-loving teacher with availability during the mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends for drop-ins, walks, and pet care in the Erie, Lafayette, and Broomfield area. I am typically available before work, after school, and evenings on weekdays and have full availability on weekends. I also have full availability during school breaks. Please note: I am not available mid-day on weekdays unless on school breaks. I’ve been a sitter on Rover since 2018 and have cared for cats and dogs most of my life, starting with cat sitting for neighbors when I was just 8 years old. I currently have two cats and a dog of my own, and I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I also have experience volunteering with the Boulder Humane Society and working at Camp Bow Wow. I love making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away, and I always prioritize dependable care and communication with photo updates! I can’t wait to meet you and your pets!

I care for every pet and home the same way I would want someone to care for my own. I always provide a safe, clean, and loving environment for pets while their owners are away. I also prioritize quick, reliable communication and regular updates so pet parents can feel comfortable and at ease.

Mackenzie was great- we sincerely appreciated her ability to catsit at the last minute. She was communicative, prompt and thorough. She anticipated needs and let me know of little changes she was noticing in my cats appearance and behavior. I would rebook her in a heartbeat.
Mackenzie did a wonderful job with our two cats during our vacation. She did exactly what we talked about and gave lots of love to our boys. We would highly recommend Mackenzie for your pet sitting needs.
Mackenzie was an absolutely incredible pet sitter for my cat! Her communication before and during my trip was top tier, and I will absolutely be booking with her again!
Kenzie was absolutely amazing! My cats are not the easiest to take care of. We have a split household, one cat who likes to pee outside of the litter box, and another who can be kind of an anxious mess at times. However, Kenzie was happy to take on the job and was incredibly communicative every day. Definitely recommend!
Mackenzie is fantastic! We had some last minute travel hit, combined with just moving to Colorado, and Mackenzie jumped right in to petsit for our 2 cats! We can tell that they love her already because of how comfortable they were in the pictures she sent!! We will definitely be using Mackenzie again! Highly recommend!

Schedule
Whether you need morning, afternoon, or evening visits, I’m happy to help on both weekdays and weekends! I am a full time teacher so I do not have availability mid-day but am more than happy to stop by after the school day is done!

- Before booking, please let me know if your pet requires any medications and how they are administered (such as mixed with food, in a pill pocket, or via syringe). For safety, please ensure there are two ways for me to access your home in case of emergencies (for example, a keypad plus a backup key or lockbox with a spare key). If a keypad or garage code is not being used, please consider a plan for a secure way for me to return your key after the final visit, such as a lockbox, key storage location, or other agreed-upon option.
