Reactivity and High-needs aware
I live with and care for two reactive (but mostly beautiful and intelligent) village dogs in Midtown Toronto. I have daily experience and a deep understanding of their needs for appropriate space from triggers, positive reinforcement exercises, and decompression activities. To successfully manage their needs, I've gained a strong knowledge of canine communication, arousal and stress levels, and appropriate environmental settings. I have first hand experience taking a puppy from street to house - fully potty and house trained, and able to calmly interact with people and dogs all with only positive reinforcement. If you're looking for someone who can take care of your reactive or high needs dog, or someone who will take your dogs needs seriously, I'm here for you!

I can ensure that I'll care for your dog with the same standards that I care for mine: positive reinforcement only, no pulling on their leash, no off-leash walks unless in a safe and fully fenced environment, no on-leash interactions with other dogs (or people if preferred/needed), appropriate and responsible canine socialization (needs dependant), and my complete and undivided attention and care.

Luke is great! Frankie is a classic bully and has lots of energy but she’s no problem for Luke. Highly recommend, he’s very knowledgeable and patient.

Schedule
As a freelance musician who works evenings, I usually have time for your dog on most weekdays through the 9-5 workday, and during the day on most weekends.
