After 10 years of working in marketing as a graphic designer, I was ready for a change of pace. I wanted to ditch the office for the outdoors, and do work that made more of a tangible impact. While I enjoyed honing my skills as a graphic designer, my true passion was always caring for animals. After I was laid off from my last job, I used some of my free time to do volunteer dog walking. I loved it so much, I decided to do it full time! I worked for a local pet sitting company before branching out on my own. My clients have been cats and dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes. I also have experience caring for turtles, axolotls, geckos and snakes. Ask me about my critter pricing! A typical visit includes meal time, a walk around the neighborhood, potty break, and playtime or snuggles if there is extra time at the end! For older dogs, I usually just do back yard time and pets/snuggles. If you have cats, I am your go-to cat lady! I have owned cats my entire life, so I am knowledgable about their body language and social cues. I love playing with energetic and social cats, but I won't bother your kitty if they are wary of strangers. I have experience administering medication to cats, so there's no need to worry about your kitty's asthma or overactive thyroid. Scooping litter and collecting the "presents" that kitty leaves out for you to find are just a couple of the ways I can give you peace of mind when you're away from home.
