Experienced pet sitter!
I have experience with all ages and a variety of pets from your typical cat and dog to more exotic animals such as snakes, birds, and reptiles! In middle school I used to run a 'pet wash' weekend where I would bath dogs in my backyard and make them smell great! Regardless I love having the ability to assist your family in your pet sitting needs. I have a senior cat myself and recently my dog passed over the rainbow bridge. I have no issues with adjusting to your pet's health or medication needs and have a lot of experience giving medications. I am happy to answer any questions you have and cuddle with your fur baby!

Kyra was a fantastic babysitter, watched our two girls overnight and administered meds. The girls seemed really happy and comfortable and we received photo updates. Would recommend!

Highly recommended for watching your dog. Kyra took great care of our dog for a couple of nights and our dog was very much at home with her. Excellent communication, pet friendly, kind, responsible and trustworthy. Finding and trusting someone to watch our dog was not easy and comes with many unknowns. Please do not worry if you have Kyra watch your pup...she is fantastic and you will be happy. We could not recommend her any higher.

Schedule
I currently work at UCDMC in the Comprehensive Cancer Center and have a hybrid schedule which allows me to work half in the office and half at home (which my cat loves!) allowing me to give your animal plenty of love during the week. I am off on weekends and tend to find things in the area to do! My partner and I also often hike in the area and would love to have your furry friend tag along.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced back yard and a ring camera both at my front and back door. If I am boarding the animal does not spend anytime outside unsupervised. Additionally I have a 'children's fence' to ensure that I can close off the upstairs when I am not home (not that there is anything dangerous but just allows them to stay on the first floor!). When I am watching pets at their house I will request a few things from you to ensure that I have all the details which are needed - such as any security codes, any cleaning requests, ect so that your pet feels comfortable with me coming in and out and we are keeping their routine!

A typical day
We live right by the old fairgrounds in Sacramento which allows for a HUGE area for us to walk. We have a stash of toys for our boarders as well as plenty of treats! I love finding residential areas with a ton of side walks so we can go stare at all the houses together!!

- I would love to know more about your pets routine that way I can ensure we are keeping it! A lot of the time this also means getting to know your routine - when are you letting the pet out for the first time? Do you always do a 3 o'clock walk? The things to make sure that it is a stress free transition for your pet as much as it is for us!
