I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I started learning about their needs and how to care for them from the age of 6, when we welcomed our first family dog. Last year, my partner and I adopted a 6-month-old puppy from Romania and hope to welcome a second dog into our family in the future, so looking after dogs is something that brings me a lot of joy. Over the years, I’ve looked after friends’ dogs in my own home while they were away on holiday. I also regularly looked after a neighbour’s dog in my home for about a year just before adoping my dog. These experiences have given me a great understanding of how to care for dogs in a home environment that isn't their own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved while their owners are away. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and getting to know their individual personalities and needs. I understand that every dog is different, and I’m happy to follow their usual routines, whether that means lots of walks and playtime, plenty of cuddles, or simply giving them a calm and comfortable space. I’d love to help other dog owners whenever they need it and give you peace of mind while your dog is in my care. I would treat your dog as if they were my own :)

Schedule
I work from home during the week, which gives me plenty of flexibility to adapt my routine around my own dog and any dogs staying with me. This means I’m able to give them plenty of attention, company and care throughout the day. I’m also available on weekends, so I can be flexible with different schedules and arrangements.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a private, securely fenced garden where dogs can safely explore, sniff around and enjoy some fresh air. Dogs also have access to our conservatory and living area, where they can relax and make themselves at home. All dogs are welcome on the sofa and beds :) If your dog is staying overnight, I’m also more than happy for them to sleep on the bed if that’s what they’re used to at home. I believe keeping their usual routines and comforts wherever possible helps them feel safe, settled and relaxed while they’re staying with us.

A typical day
I love creating fun games and stimulating activities to keep dogs happy, entertained and mentally engaged throughout the day. After breakfast, they can enjoy some safe playtime in our private, securely fenced garden with our dog Muffin, or have some relaxed time indoors in the living room, where they’re welcome to chill out on the sofa and make themselves at home. I’ll always make sure your dog gets plenty of attention, affection and care, while also respecting their individual routine and personality. I’m a very attentive and responsible dog owner, and I genuinely enjoy seeing dogs happy and comfortable. Throughout the day, I can keep you updated with photos/videos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, happy and being well looked after.
