Pet care experience
I was the kid in elementary school that knew way too many facts about animals 😆 That love and curiosity to learn and care for animals has always been a passion for me! I started my animal care taker journey in 2014, fostering kittens for the Nebraska Humane Society. Then, I started pet sitting in 2019 and went to school to be a Certified Veterinary Assistant, allowing me to service pets with medical concerns or special needs. This also taught me a lot about dog and cat behavior. I quickly became the cat whisperer and was the nurse who could trim nails on the “aggressive” or fearful dogs. If you have a pet that is more shy towards meeting new people or is described as “aggressive,” I take things slow and always suggest having multiple meet and greets. It’s important that your pet feels safe with me, and I’m happy to be that space for them while you are away! ❤️ My experience/specialties: - elderly dogs and cats (I don’t shy away from changing diapers or helping pets get around the house/yard) - Fearful dogs and cats (I take my time and put their comfortability first) - Disabled/Medical Concerns ( I am able to pill, oral liquids and do injections) - Basic Training (sit, stay, come, leave it, lay down, kennel training, fix pulling on the leash, and place) - Grooming (basic bath, blow dry and brush, also desheds) - Nail trims - Nail caps (soft paws) - Adventure Days (take your dog/cat to Hitchcock for a long hike) I work as a house keeper part time, allowing me to let pets out every 4 hours! If it’s an overnight booking, I am free to be there 18-20 hours a day, all day on the weekends, giving your pets lots of TLC and enrichment! Walks daily and brain games geared for each individual pet! I send photos, videos and updates at least 4x a day! 😻 I always leave your house, and your pets space, in tip top shape! 😉 I hope to meet you and your fur baby soon! 🤗

Reviews
Kiki did a fantastic job watching Thor for our trip to Phoenix. Lots of pictures and cleaned everything up before she left. Would highly recommend and will be using her again in the future.
When we travel we always have a family member watch our two dogs. We had a wedding out of state, which the whole family would be traveling for. We were so nervous to leave our dogs with someone we didn’t know. One of our dogs has a very high anxiety level, and can take awhile to warm up to new people. Kiki stopped by several days before our trip to meet the dogs, and go over the dogs needs. Once we met Kiki, we knew we made the right choice in a dog sitter. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and asked questions. Kiki was amazing over the few days she was in our home with the dogs. We received texts and pictures several times throughout the day. We were beyond surprised and pleased to see how quickly they took to her. We were able to relax and enjoy our trip, knowing they were in the best hands possible. We would recommend Kiki to anyone looking for great care for their fur babies. We would absolutely ask her again in the future if needed.

Kiki has such a warm personality, with both people and pups! We had a great experience meeting her, explaining our dog's needs, and then getting daily updates on how he was doing. It was great to have someone we could trust to distribute his epilepsy medicine and spend time with him!

Kiki was amazing with our pups. They warmed to her right away and she was very affectionate towards them. She sent lots of pics and updates and followed all of our instructions while keeping our house in order. We will be using Kiki again!
