I have fostered over 100 animals for shelters and rescues in addition to my own pets, which required an evolving skillset in caring for their needs. I have experience caring for animals with medical issues including post-surgical care, behavioral issues, acute illnesses, neonatal care and bottle feeding, and dispensing medications, including insulin and subq fluids. I am great at reading behavior and catering to quirky animals. My family always had pets growing up, and my mother taught me to be compassionate and responsible for the well being of our pets, an experience I've continued with my own companion animals. I currently have 4 cats and 1 foster, 4 fishtanks, a palludarium for crabs, as well as a community of ferals I care for and am actively TNRing. I have had backyard chickens and am always willing to drop in for those as well. Every animal deserves to be treated with respect and kindness, and allowed to feel safe and well cared-for. 100% of proceeds are used for the TNR and care of feral cats in Corsicana. Almost 1 dozen spayed/neutered and vaccinated in the last year, and daily food for a rotating cast of 15-20.
