Your Dog, Our Only Guest
What makes our home different is simple: your dog won’t be one of many. We only care for one family’s dog at a time, so your dog receives our full attention without having to adjust to a house full of unfamiliar dogs. We also have no resident pets and no children, creating a peaceful, predictable environment that can be especially comforting for older dogs, anxious dogs, or dogs who simply prefer a quieter home. I work from home, which means your dog won’t spend long stretches of the day alone. They’ll have companionship, supervision, affection, potty breaks, walks, and plenty of time to settle in and feel comfortable. My husband and I have cared for our own dogs through every stage of life, including the senior years and vision loss. That experience taught us how important patience, routine, reassurance, and individualized care can be. We understand that some dogs need a little more time, a slower pace, medication, extra help navigating their surroundings, or simply someone nearby who makes them feel secure. After losing our two beloved dogs, we’re not quite ready to bring another dog into our family, but we deeply miss having dogs in our lives. When a dog stays with us, they truly become part of our home while they’re here. Whether your dog wants to curl up next to me while I work, follow us from room to room, enjoy walks and playtime, or find a favorite quiet spot to nap, we’ll follow their normal routine and let them be themselves. One family at a time. No resident pets. No children. Someone home throughout the day. Our goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your dog isn’t simply being boarded — they’re staying in a calm, loving home where they are our priority.

Kellie was wonderful. She and Joe were our first non-family overnight care givers for Petey. Let me just say WONDERFUL ! Excellent communication, pictures and reassuring texts. We won’t hesitate to arrange a sleepover when needed and you shouldn’t either. Thank you Kellie and Joe.
Kellie was absolutely wonderful with Barley! He has separation anxiety, so we’re always a little nervous leaving him, but Kellie put us completely at ease. She was so sweet and attentive with him, she even took him to the pet store and got him bones and toys to keep him happy. You can tell she and her husband genuinely love love love dogs; their home was beautiful and clearly set up for dogs to feel comfortable and cared for. Thanks to Kellie, we got to actually relax on our trip knowing Barley was in the best hands. Highly, highly recommend her. we’ll definitely be booking with her again!
Excellent care for my fur baby! This was my first time leaving her with anyone, I was really nervous but once I met Kellie I felt more comfortable and after picking her up I will definitely use Kellie in the future anytime I need someone to watch her.

This charming couple and their two adorable chihuahuas took such excellent care of Roxie :) Their love of dogs was written all over them. Kellie sent pics of Rox cozy on their couch, and treated her as though she was their own. I highly recommend Kellie, and will definitely seek her to take care of my girl next time I'm in Frederick. Kellie did a great job caring for Tobie. She has good experience with dogs that require special needs. I received photos with updates during his stay.

Your dog will enjoy a safe, calm, and loving environment with plenty of personalized attention. Since I work from home full-time, I can provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. I only care for one family's dog at a time, so your pet receives my full attention. Having cared for senior and special-needs dogs, I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and making each dog feel comfortable, secure, and loved. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

- My goal is for your pet to feel comfortable, safe, and loved in my home while you are away. Before any stay, I like to learn as much as possible about your dog, including their personality, energy level, routine, and temperament around other dogs and people. During our meet and greet, we can discuss any medical needs, medications, feeding schedule, exercise requirements, favorite activities, and, of course, where your dog prefers to sleep. Every dog is unique, and understanding their routine helps me provide the best possible care and make their stay as stress-free as possible. The more I know about your dog beforehand, the better I can provide a loving, personalized experience while giving you peace of mind during your time away.
