I have experience taking care of dogs, cats, leopard geckos, rodents and am learning how to take care of snakes :) I’m very comfortable with dogs and understanding their cues and reading their body language. I have volunteered for the human society and have fostered dogs as well. I’m comfortable giving medication and work with whatever special needs your pet may have. I’ve adjusted my house sitting rate to be set with the level of quality care I provide during the stay while I leave my own pets and family in mind.

Kate was wonderful! I needed to find a new cat sitter when my usual one went back to school and was no longer available. Kate was excellent from the beginning. I appreciated that she suggested a meet and greet and was able to make time for that on short notice. I have two elderly cats who both need medication that they aren’t thrilled about taking, and Kate was able to manage that with no trouble. She was great about checking in after the visit to confirm that all went well and to send photos. I will absolutely be reaching out to her again in the future!
Kate was wonderful and we highly recommend her! We were so sad to leave our precious Sparks for two weeks but Kate sent us daily updates and photos (sometimes 2x a day) which made us very comfortable and happy to know that our baby was having such a great time and was very well loved by Kate and her family. Kates dogs and Sparks got along great. It was a perfect experience and we will definitely book with Kate again!
Kate took wonderful care of my boys while I was on a two-week trip! They were relaxed and happy when I returned home and the house was in great shape! Will definitely book again :)
Kate and family were great taking care of our French Bulldog for a week while we traveled out of town. Kate sent us pictures and updates daily reassuring us he was doing great. Our pup got along great with Kate’s two dogs and played hard. Our Frenchie has a strong personality that can be a bit much for his daycare crew, but Kate and family had no issues and have welcomed him back. I’d say the hardest part of our pup’s stay was that he didn’t want to leave Kate’s house to come home!
Kate took great care of my dog while I was out of town! She was with her for 8 days and had an absolute blast. Kate was really kind and easy to work with. She sent me a couple of pictures each day so I could see that my dog was happy and having fun. I would definitely recommend Kate and would work with her again. Thanks, Kate!

A typical day
I have a fenced in back yard so the dogs can go out first thing. It depends on the owners request, we have private beach property we can access, we frequent point defiance park but can also can just play in the backyard or go for walks around the neighborhood.

Safety really is my top priority and am honest about my limitations and seek to provide a safe and comfortable environment for everyone involved so whatever information you can provide so we can work together to create the best plan for your pet while you’re away.
