Hi there! I have been a devoted dog owner and lover my entire life. I understand that dogs aren’t just pets; they are family. Since I'm home full-time, your pup will get constant supervision, endless belly rubs, and all the attention they are used to receiving at home. Your dog will be treated exactly like one of my own. I live in a quiet, non-smoking home in the Acworth area. We have a spacious front yard —perfect for fetch or lounging in the grass. Dogs are allowed on the furniture, and I have plenty of cozy dog beds to go around. If they prefer their own crate, I can easily accommodate that too. I know how stressful it can be to leave your furry best friend behind. I specialize in making your dog's stay feel like a fun vacation rather than a stressful kennel experience. I also provide owners with regular photo and video updates so you can enjoy your time away with total peace of mind! For stays longer than three days I prefer to bring my cavapoo Coco as long as the dogs are compatible. She is being trained as a service animal, so unless she is off the leash and outside, she is surprisingly laid back.

Wow, Karen was incredible! She stayed in our home with our sweet older boy who loved her. From a wonderful meet and greet, to our long weekend stay she had in our home, it was flawless! Our boy is normally sad when we leave, but from the pics and updates, and by how he was when we got home, Karen did a fantastic job! He had a great time and wasn’t even scared of the July 4th fireworks due to Karen’s attentive and calm company. She respected our home so well, too, I’ll ask her back again for sure! Highly highly recommended!

Schedule
Because we both work at home, we are always here. Your dog is never left alone. With your approval I may take them to the dog park to let them run - as long as that is something you enjoy with them.

Safety, trust & environment
I live on a private road with only 3 other homes. There is almost no traffic so walking is relaxing and safe. Two of my neighbors have dogs, plus there are deer, armadillos, woodchucks, squirrels, chipmunks, and birds to entertain the sniffers and excite the barkers. My house is large and simply furnished with lots of spots for a nap and room for inside play when the weather is uninviting. I’m a Yale graduate with 30+ years working for Fortune 100 companies - I’m trustworthy and honest and you can depend on me to treat your home like mine (or better!) when I’m there.
Pets
A typical day
I’m an early riser and my first stop is to take the dogs outside for a walk along our private road. Then it’s time for fresh food and water while I have MY coffee. After chow time, it’s play time. Fetch and puzzles and lots of belly rubs and butt scratches. Another trip outside and then it’s time to relax while I get some work done. Depending on your dog’s needs, I’ll break every two hours for 20 minutes of walking and play time. This continues all day until it’s time for a longer walk and dinner. One or two more quick walks and then it’s crate time.
