Welcome to my profile! For 6 years I’ve shared my life with a rescue dog (Buster) and have walked and boarded dogs regularly since moving to Nashville in 2024. Buster loves having company around! I’m especially good with shy or protective rescues, but I can accommodate any size or breed of dog. Puppies are welcome as well. Calm energy, reliable routines, and great care guaranteed. Quick weekend getaway? Running out of town on a last-minute notice? 2 week Vacation? Just reach out and let me know what dates you need covered and I’m your guy! Buster has proven to be a good hang for any dog. You can ensure that your dog will not be bored or bothered! From long walks by the river to movie nights chilling on the couch, my spot has proven to be a great place to host your pup. Send me a request and I will be quick to respond! I understand that leaving your pup with a complete stranger can be a bit nerve-wracking. Especially if your dog has any specific needs. Worrying about how your dog is doing while you’re out of town is the last thing need to be concerned about. I will make sure to set up a meet-and-greet prior to your pup’s stay to ensure that trust is established and that you are comfortable and confident in the decision to book with me 🤙

John was super helpful for our last minute request!!! Hercules loved getting to explore the dog park and when we picked him at the end of the day he was a very sleepy boy! John is trustworthy and knows what he is doing. I highly recommend!
I was grateful that John O. agreed to watch my Golden Retriever puppy while I went on a trip to Chicago. He gave baxter his food, some good walks, and some play time. His own dog got along well with Baxter, and having a playmate for him was ideal! I would use John again if given the opportunity!
We sent our Rollo away during our wedding weekend. John was great with communication, sent us updates, and Rollo seemed happy and well-loved when he returned!

I can work around whatever your needs are! My job is flexible and I can work from home. You can guarantee that your dog will be given proper attention and exercise throughout the duration of their stay.

Safe, dog-proofed home in an apartment complex right by the riverwalk with lots of dog-friendly accommodations. Will follow your exact routines and needs. And of course, daily photos and updates!

A typical day
Morning and afternoon walks, evening stroll, dinner. And of course, riverfront views and dog-watching. Happy pup guaranteed. While I live in an apartment, I have an awesome window view that keeps pups occupied when we are not outside walking/playing. I typically take my guest pups out for walks 3-4 times a day minimum, and I do not keep dogs in crates unless it’s specifically requested.
