I retired from the fire service 5 years ago after a lengthy career and can attest to the statement that being a firefighter is the greatest job on earth. I’ve recently completed a major renovation of a unique custom home and have the time and desire to share my love of animals as well as my broad life experiences and skills in providing a special kind of care for your beloved furry friends while being able to handle any and all potential emergencies or inconveniences that could possibly arise.

In order to best maintain the normal habits and routines of your pet, we’ll discuss in depth the details of their typical day. While I’ll take notes from our conversation, notes from you the owner are always a big help in insuring your pets schedule and routine are maintained.
A typical day
Your pet will miss you while you’re gone which is why maintaining “normalcy” in their own environment is so important. I will discuss with you the habits and preferences of your pet to insure that their schedule and typical day are maintained. Weather permitting, I’ve found that dogs love the outdoors and long walks in order to discover the world outside of the home.

As a firefighter, I’m skilled and highly capable at handling any emergencies that could occur to your home in addition to providing the all important attention and care for your beloved furry family members.

John has watched our Portuguese Water Dog many times over the past 4 years when the family is traveling. He’s attentive, trustworthy, loving…I can’t say enough good things. A couple of years ago, our dog got sick and we were afraid to go away. John not only gave him injections, but gave us multiple updates and pictures a day which put us at ease. Beyond that, John is tidy and always leaves the house exactly as we left it.
