Since I work fully remotely, I’m home most of the time and able to keep your fur baby company throughout the day — whether it’s cuddle breaks between meetings, or just having someone nearby to help them feel safe and relaxed. On weekends, my husband and I love going for long walks or exploring local parks and trails — and we’re always excited to bring our furry guests along for the adventure! It’s a great way for them to enjoy some fresh air, get their energy out, and have a little weekend fun. Every pet is different, so we’re happy to adjust our routine to fit your little one’s habits and comfort level — whether they love early morning walks, midday playtime, or just quiet snuggles on the couch.

Your pet’s safety is always our #1 priority. We’re extremely mindful during walks — we never let go of the leash, and we never use our phones while walking, so your fur baby is always within our full attention. We’re also very cautious about what your pet eats: even when offering something as simple as fruits or veggies, we’ll always check with you first to make sure you’re comfortable with it. Nothing goes in their bowl without your okay! When we go out for walks, we double-check harnesses and collars to make sure they’re secure. If your little one has specific walking needs or reacts strongly to other dogs or noises, just let us know — we’re happy to adjust our route and pace to make them feel more at ease. Inside our home, we make sure everything is safe and pet-friendly. We double-check collars and harnesses before every walk, keep doors and windows securely closed, and never leave anything dangerous within reach. Our senior guinea pig stays in a separate room during any pet’s visit, so there’s no stress or unexpected interactions. We also want to mention that we have several houseplants at home. If your pet has a habit of chewing on plants, please let us know in advance so we can adjust the setup and keep things safe for them. We treat your pet with the same care and respect we’d want someone to show ours — always with love, patience, and full attention to their individual needs.

A typical day
Our daily routine is super flexible since I work from home, so we’re able to follow your pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible — whether that’s specific potty break times, mealtime routines, or preferred walk hours. We know how important consistency is, especially when your little one is staying in a new environment, and we want them to feel right at home from day one. A typical day includes multiple potty breaks and walks, playtime throughout the day, and plenty of cuddles and chill time — depending on your pet’s energy level and personality. Some pups love a good game of tug or fetch, while others just want to nap beside us while we work — and we’re happy to go with their flow. You’ll receive lots of updates while you’re away! I will send photos and videos throughout the day — everything from walk highlights to meal time clips, and yes, even daily 💩 check-ins so you know your fur baby is doing well and staying healthy. You’ll never have to wonder how they’re doing, because you’ll be part of their day too!

Hi there! My husband and I live in a cozy condo and only host small to medium-sized dogs, so there’s always plenty of space for your little one to feel relaxed and comfortable. I work from home during the week, which means your fur baby will have lots of company and attention throughout the day. I’ve been an animal lover all my life and have nearly 10 years of experience caring for pets. I’ve been a sitter on Rover for over 3 years now and we’ve had the joy of welcoming more than 30 sweet pups and kitties into our home. To make sure every little guest gets our full attention and care, we keep our schedule light and only host one family’s pet(s) at a time (max two pets). After each stay, we deep clean our home — vacuuming, mopping, and washing bedding and couch covers — to make sure everything feels fresh and welcoming for the next fur baby who visits. We live in a peaceful, pet-friendly neighborhood with a lovely park right downstairs — perfect for walks and sniff breaks. We know most of the neighborhood pups and they’re all super friendly, but if your little one prefers their own space, we’re happy to keep walks calm and quiet. On weekends, we love going out for longer walks or trail adventures, and we’re always excited to bring our furry guests along. Besides dogs and cats, I’ve also cared for guinea pigs, hamsters, parrots, and even baby chicks! We currently have a senior guinea pig at home. When we're hosting dogs and cats, he stays comfortably in a separate bedroom so everyone has their own space. We treat every fur baby like family — but since they’re your baby, we know that means extra responsibility and extra love. So we give them all the attention, care, and comfort they need to feel totally at home. While you’re enjoying your trip, your little one will be too — with lots of cuddles, playtime, and love. We are extremely happy that we have found Jiaying and her husband to take care of our cat Hua Li for two weeks while my family was away on vacation. They are caring, patient and attentative. We received videos, pictures and message updates at least twice a day, which made us feeling very comfortable knowing our cat was in excellent condition and receiving good care. We will definitely want Jiaying to look after our cat again in the future!
Holly and her husband are outstanding sitters. Jordan was very happy and relaxed upon pick up which proved to me that he was so well taken care of. I was sent updates and videos throughout the day which put my mind at ease. Thank you for loving and caring for Jordan we are ao greatful to have connected with people who love dogs as much as I do. I would definitely recommend and use Holly again in the future. 10 stars!!!
I cannot recommend Jiaying enough! She was incredibly attentive and careful with my pets during my 45-day trip back home. Every day, she sent me plenty of photos and detailed updates, so I always knew my pets were happy and well taken care of. She’s truly reliable, patient, and gentle with animals, and her loving care gave me total peace of mind while I was away. My pets were clearly comfortable and happy with her, which meant everything to me. I will absolutely book her again and strongly recommend her to anyone looking for trustworthy, responsible, and loving pet care.
