I adore animals!
I have always loved all types of animals, but dogs are the best! We currently have 2 cats and 2 dogs -- a young boxer, Bongo, and an older chihuahua mix, Fiddle -- but I love watching other people's pups, too. And my boxer also loves having dog guests!

This was our first time using Rover, and we're so pleased. Jennifer made a great impression! She sent daily photos and in all of them, our dog looked either totally relaxed or like he was having a blast.
Jennifer is the best. On a last minute request for 4th of July weekend she accepted our two English Setters for boarding for the weekend. She has a great place for the dogs, Hugh fenced in back yard, furniture for the dogs to sleep on or whatever you want for your pet. She sent great photos and videos of our pets having fun. We have already booked her for our next adventure.

We were in town for a busy soccer tournament with our two young girls and our energetic 1 year old golden retriever, Gus. We were thrilled to find Jen last minute. Gus had much more fun hanging out with the Jen and her sweet pups than being leashed up at the hot and busy soccer fields. We received updates and pics over the weekend and felt grateful for the attentive care Jen provided. Her prices are also very reasonable. We’ll be back next time we’re in Missoula.
Jen was great. She helped my dog deal with anxiety during at thunderstorm, and maintained good communication the whole time.
Leeloo came home happy and healthy, and we felt so comfortable having her stay with you!

Schedule
I currently work from home, so I am able to keep an eye on the dogs all day long. When the weather is nice, I keep the door to our fenced back yard cracked, so the dogs can go in and out as they please. Otherwise, I let them in and out frequently throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced-in back yard, so my dogs run around loose, but if your pup is an escape artist, I'm happy to keep them inside unless they are supervised and/or leashed. My boxer loves romping around with other dogs. I do allow my dogs on the furniture, but I am happy to keep your dog(s) off if that is not allowed at your house. And if your pup does best in a crate, we can continue that here, too. We do also have 2 cats, so we can only watch dogs who are cat safe.
Pets
A typical day
I love to play with the dogs in our home and back yard -- fetch, tug, chase -- and I like to give them activities that are mentally stimulating -- treat balls, stuffed Kongs, licking mats, snuffle mats, etc. And, of course, if the dogs enjoy playing with one another, that is fantastic. Bongo will play endlessly! There are so many great places to go on walks around Missoula, but Blue Mountain is one of my favorites since the dogs can be off-lead (if the dog's recall is good).
