Safety, trust & environment

Adhering to the pet’s routine is essential. I think we can all agree that belly rubs are a must! Getting down to the dog’s level is a great way to build trust. We will always meet pets where they are comfortable and create relationships.

Information Jasmine & Ian S. would like to know about your pet

Every dog has a personality. Here is a brief breakdown of potential areas of concern for the dog, such as food aggression, toy aggression, leash aggression, and sensitivity to touch around the feet or belly, among others. The same goes for reptiles, birds, hamsters, and other pets. We have no breed or size restrictions. It is more about personality type. Dogs that would be the best fit would be dogs accustomed to working families or independent enough to be home unsupervised for at least 5-6 hours a day. Examples of dogs that would not be a good fit would be very young puppies and dogs with separation anxiety. For the safety of our furry pets at home and other furry clients we may be visiting, we require that your pets be on a flea and tick prevention product before a stay is booked. If we notice fleas on your pet during a booked visit, we will apply the treatment at the owner’s cost. Year-round prevention is key! We require our clients to leave Emergency Vet information. Once a visit is booked, please notify your veterinarian that we are responsible for your pet(s) well-being and provide consent for us to bring your pet(s) in for treatment. All expenses incurred during a house sit concerning your pet’s care (flea treatments, pet food, veterinary fees, etc.) must be reimbursed to us by the end of the sitting. Clients with outstanding balances may not book with us again until that balance is cleared.

A typical day

Pet care experience

*** PLEASE READ THE FULL PROFILE FOR PET CARE DETAILS :) *** Aloha!... We have a strong passion for animals as well as a passion for helping people. We have experience with elderly dogs and administering medication and are comfortable with most exotic pets. When Ian house-sits, he is with your pets overnight and frequently throughout the day between other drop-in visits and checking in on pets at home. For this reason, 24-hour care is not offered; Jasmine helps with drop-in visits to accommodate each family’s needs. The goal is to care for and love your pets and put your mind at ease while you are away. The starting price for house-sitting accommodates up to two dogs or two cats (for cat-only house-sits). The additional dog or cat fee will start with the third dog or cat. The dog house-sitting fee and the additional cat charge will apply in homes with dogs and cats. Small Animals We care for birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, most reptiles, fish, etc. If you have an exotic pet, please contact us for pricing. If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch with us. We are looking forward to helping you and your family. Mahalo.

Absolutely stellar. Jasmine and Ian took incredible care of our home and animals while we were away, and we couldn’t have asked for better humans. The house was spotless, the animals were clearly loved on and happy, and communication was rock solid the whole time. Zero stress, total trust. 11/10 amazing! We would have them back in a heartbeat and recommend them without hesitation.

Ian is our go-to sitter for our 2 year old French bulldog. He did drop in visits for the weekend and gave us peace of mind when we were out of town
