If I could give James and Rachel more than five stars, I absolutely would. This was Porter's first time ever staying away from home. He's an older Chocolate Lab who has never been boarded, so I was naturally a little nervous. James and Rachel immediately put both of us at ease. They welcomed Porter into their home as if he were part of the family. He received so much love, attention, and affection—which is exactly what a needy Lab hopes for! He especially enjoyed being in a real family environment, spending time around the kids, and simply being part of the daily routine instead of feeling like he was being "boarded." I received updates that reassured me he was doing well, and it was obvious he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. In fact, I think Porter may have been a little disappointed to come home after all the extra attention he received! I can't recommend James and Rachel highly enough. If you're looking for kind, trustworthy people who will genuinely care for your dog like one of their own, you won't find better. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of Porter—we will absolutely book with you again!
James and his family were absolutely amazing! We needed last-minute care for our girl after deciding to take a quick overnight trip, and James came through for us in a big way. I sent the booking request just three hours before we needed care, and he responded almost immediately. From the start, James was kind, reliable, and incredibly accommodating. It was clear right away how much he genuinely cares for animals and how dedicated he is to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. We especially loved all the pictures and updates he sent, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Knowing our girl was in such great hands made the whole experience stress-free. We couldn’t be happier and will absolutely be booking with James again. Highly recommend!
I wasn’t worried about my dog for a moment while I was away. It was really great to be able to focus on family time out of town and know that my baby was in good hands. Not only was he well taken care of, he came home EXHAUSTED, giving me time to unwind and relax after my trip. My dog clearly had a very good time, and I could not be happier with my experience.
My two pups had an overnight with James and his family. We have been looking for a new sitter for more than 6 months since ours moved to another state. The girls came back happy and tired. I got updates and photos while they were with him. We will be using James again.
Boarding with James was super easy. He truly loves the dogs and gave us peace of mind our dog Jack was in good hands. Prompt communication. Will definitely be booking again!

Schedule
I am a teacher during the day. I'm usually home by 3. I'm home every afternoon and every night and every weekend. I do have flexibility in my work schedule should they need arise.

I have a dog lead hooked up to the house and it goes all the way back to the maple tree on the back of the property. 20 ft in either direction gives Fido plenty of room to go to the bathroom. Otherwise, your pup is in the house with me and my family. I am offering dog boarding services. This is a friendly Christian home. Lots of love to share.
