When I’m staying in your home with your pets, my goal is to keep things feeling as normal and comfortable for them as possible. Every pet (and every home!) has its own routine, and I’m happy to follow whatever instructions you leave — from feeding schedules and medication routines to favorite walking routes or bedtime rituals. I know how important the little details are when it comes to helping pets feel safe and relaxed while their people are away. My job is to keep their world running just the way you like it — with plenty of love, attention, and care along the way.

If your pet has any medications, medical conditions, or special care needs, please let me know ahead of time when booking! With my veterinary technician background, I’m very comfortable giving medications (oral, topical, injections, etc.) and working with pets who might need a little extra help or patience. The more I know about your pet’s routine and health needs, the better I can care for them just like you would.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I do my best to match their energy, routine, and comfort level. I like to keep your pet’s routine as close to normal as possible, following whatever instructions you leave. I’ll always keep you updated with photos, messages, and little notes about how your pet’s doing — because I know how hard it can be to be away from them!

I've been lucky enough to spend my whole life around dogs — from playful puppies to senior sweethearts needing a little extra TLC. With 7+ years as a veterinary technician, I'm comfortable with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and medical needs. Whether your pup just needs a quick walk to get the wiggles out, some quiet companionship, or daily medications, I'm happy to help. Big dogs, small dogs, couch potatoes or adventure buddies — every dog deserves to feel safe and loved while you're away.

Jacob is the best! Every time we have booked him, we feel secure knowing our pups (and fish) are well cared-for. He gives real-time updates, and the photos are wonderful to see. He has been great at handling work being done on the house and property, too. We can tell that he genuinely cares about our pets, and will do what they need to feel safe and happy.
Jacob B. took great care of our two dogs! (and our fish, too). :) He spent real quality time with them, kept them safe, and was so great at handling some changes with work being done on our yard during his visits. We enjoyed receiving each Rover Card with well-written notes and in-the-moment photos that helped us feel really connected to our sweet, silly, sometimes-challenging pups and their unique character traits. It was a relief to know they were getting such good care, and this helped us be more present on our trip. We are so glad we found Jacob B!
Jacob has been working with animals in the vet field for almost 10 years and his love of animals started before then. He's comfortable with exotics and small animals, and really knows how to win over every pet he meets (even the ones who usually don't like men!). I trust him with all my animals, especially my pet who has seizures and has needed surgeries through his life 💜 100% recommend!!!
