I've helped take care of dogs many times over the years. In high school, I would frequently dogsit for family friends whenever they were out of town, which was often. I would be responsible for walking, feeding, and playing with their dogs as well as spending the night with them. They relied on me many times and were always happy with my work. In college, I joined a club that was responsible for students training dogs to become service dogs. I would frequently take care of other students' dogs whenever they had a conflict of interest and were unable to care for their dogs for a certain amount of time. This would involve not only walking and feeding them but also making sure their behavior inside and outside followed the guidelines given by the club to make sure they were being properly trained and would become successful service animals. I also had a personal dog that I have been took care of for almost 10 years until she passed away and I currently have 2 cats that I’ve been taking care of for many years. I love animals, especially cats and dogs, so much that I am currently in the process of becoming a volunteer for the Cleveland APL. I will make sure to stay in constant contact with you while caring for your pets and will send you lots of pictures of them while you are away so you know they are ok and are having fun.
