I have over 10 years experience in caring for senior pets and pets with medical needs. I am comfortable giving medications and providing accommodations for all types of pet needs, and I am calm in emergencies. I am very in tune with pets needs and behavior and take time to let them show their personality. I believe in making pets happy and comfortable by trying to listen to what they show me they like.

I can easily crate a pet in my apartment if needed. When checking on pets in client's apartments I am careful to respect the rules of the household so the pet does not feel like their routine is too different. I am very patient and give the pet the time and space to feel comfortable with my presence while I make sure their needs are met.

Iva was just wonderful! This was our first stayover house-sitter (although as a college student I did pet- and house-sitting myself for 5+years), and we have a rather neurotic mini-aussie, Hunter. Iva came for a meet-and-greet a month before and I could tell Hunter would be so at-ease with her. Iva checked in daily with photos and stories and was so very attentive to Hunter and his many routines. When we arrived home again, Hunter showed no signs of distress from our absence, as had occurred during other vacations when we had arranged simple drop-by feedings and exercise. Iva would be our first choice to have back! Thanks for putting our minds at ease!
Iva was a wonderful caretaker for my elderly kitty! She was gentle, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. She followed all instructions to a T, and her own experience with a kitty with similar health challenges came in handy! I felt great knowing she was taking care of Naomi. Thank you!

Schedule
I work from home and rarely leave Corvallis so I am almost always available. I am comfortable checking in on pets as many times per day as needed and like incorporating play in visits/boarding based on the pet's energy.
- Iva can host up to 10 drop-ins per day
- Please let me know in advance about your pet's needs or specific behaviors. It is very helpful to know what upsets or makes your pet uncomfortable and what kinds of things calm your pet down.
