It was our first time traveling without our dog, so we were pretty worried, especially because he can be sensitive and tends to bark a lot. But she took such thoughtful and attentive care of Ari that we were able to feel at ease throughout our trip. Even though we booked her on short notice, she was incredibly kind, warm, and caring with him. We’re so grateful that Ari was in such good hands while we were away!

Hi, When our family first adopted a dog in Hyewon’s childhood, we raised a Shih Tzu with a lot of love. Hyewon was the one who took on the “mom” role. She handled almost all of the daily care herself. When the dog had puppies, and later when those puppies were placed in new homes, Hyewon was very careful. She paid close attention to each home and to whether the new person would be a responsible guardian. Her first standard was always the dog’s happiness. After that dog passed away, she was heartbroken for a long time. In the United States she wanted to adopt again, but she did not, because of work. She could not bear the idea of a dog sitting alone all day. That still made her sad. Now that she has more time, she has often said she wants to adopt. I recommended Rover instead. I thought it would be better for her to care for dogs from time to time than to worry all over again about a dog’s feelings if work became busy. More than anything, Hyewon sees time with dogs as her happiest time. She loves my dog so much that she even comes to New York just to see her. I used to go out on purpose so I would not interrupt their time together. If you leave your dog with Hyewon, I truly believe you are very lucky. Dogs know when someone loves them.
