I’m always happy to chat about booking details to make sure I’m a great fit for your dog! I work a hybrid schedule and I’m home most days except Tuesdays. Occasionally, I may need to step out for a couple hours, but I’m always happy to discuss timing and make sure your dog is comfortable and well cared for. My top priority is making sure they feel loved, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

Things like feeding schedule, exercise preferences, medical needs, medications, or quirks (like being shy around other dogs, or nervous with loud noises) help me make them feel safe and comfortable. I also like to know their favorite toys, activities, and any house rules so I can keep their routine as consistent as possible.
A typical day
I love keeping pets happy and engaged with activities that fit their personality, for example walks, fetch, tug-of-war, or play with toys. For calmer pets, I’m all about cozy cuddles and gentle play.

Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember, from growing up with my own fur babies to looking after the dogs of friends, family, and neighbors. Over the years, I’ve learned how to keep dogs happy, healthy, and loved, whether that means long play sessions, belly rubs, or just a cozy cuddle on the couch. I treat every dog as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family.

Heidi was wonderful. She took such good care of Poppy while I was gone. I got messages, pictures and videos. She's a great pet photographer! I could relax and enjoy my vacation knowing Poppy was in good hands! I would definitely recommend Heidi to others looking for pet care!
Heidi stayed with our Reggie for 5 days while we were out of country, was 5/5 thrilled with how she kept us updated, cared for Reggie and our house and loved Reggie like he was part of her own family. It’s such a relief to have someone to rely on like Heidi, Reggie had a hot spot and upon return it’s very clear that she cared for him just like we would have. 100% recommend Heidi for any of your future fur help and care!
We are so grateful that we found Heidi! We needed someone that was flexible and willing to stay with our new puppy at our house during the day for a few days. She was so accommodating! Archie fell in love with her immediately! Heidi provided regular photo updates/texts throughout the day. I highly recommend her!
