Ratings and reviews
Heidi was wonderful with JoJo last Friday, as she always has been. She is caring, attentive to his needs, detail oriented and keeps us posted on how he is doing. JoJo responds enthusiastically to her attention and care. We enjoyed an evening away from home with no concerns knowing JoJo was well cared for.

Repeat user for the third time now. We could not recommend Heidi enough. She is nothing short of exceptional.
Repeat client here—and for good reason! Heidi is nothing short of incredible. Our dogs absolutely light up with excitement every time she visits. One of our pups has a history of PTSD, and Heidi‘s experience and knowledge with special-need animals truly stood out to us. Her patients, transparency, and genuine care give us complete peace of mind. Heidi has become an essential part of our fur babies support team—and they absolutely adore her. Thank you again Heidi.
Heidi is incredibly trustworthy, thorough, and reliable. Her professionalism, honesty, and thoughtful approach stand out as the most genuine and respectful experience we’ve had on Rover. Our boy V absolutely adores her! Heidi is truly exceptional, and we’re so grateful to have found her. We’ll definitely be rebooking—thank you, Heidi!
Heidi was very communicative and thorough. She asked great questions during our intake call and even took detailed notes. She gave me timely updates with photos and was overall a pleasure to work with. I would not hesistate to book with Heidi again!

I was conflicted as to whether to write this review but I decided that it is important to share our experience. This has been the worst experience that I've ever had with a Rover sitter. Heidi had very specific expectations that ranged from providing her with a food allowance for her very expensive diet and other items, to privately invoicing us (outside of Rover) for a "special needs" dog after we had made it clear that we tip well because we know our girl is more work than a routine housesitting assignment. We had told her that would take care of her generously after her stay. She then submitted a booking modification thru Rover in which she asked to tack on a "special needs" fee. She experienced "severe separation anxiety" in our dog, which is something that no other sitter has expressed. She did offer suggestions for calming the dog down which included getting a vet prescription for medication, aroma therapy and purchasing a comfort wrap. And she was willing to give the dog a few more days to adjust. I got no updates during the time that Heidi was with our dog, even after I specifically enquired as to how things were going. She felt that we were not transparent regarding our dog's special needs although we are upfront from the beginning that the dog is epileptic and requires medication 4 times daily. She was informed that the dog had experienced urinary incontinence for which she was being given medicine and it was effective in controlling accidents. She accused us of drop-in listening on our Echo Dot when it was just Amazon notifications regarding severe weather in the area. She was obviously uncomfortable staying in our home and her discomfort translated to our dog, who exhibited anxiety in her presence and reverted to having accidents in the house. In the end, we asked to cancel the remainder of the booking as we were unhappy with the lack of updates -especially since Heidi was having a problem - and the implication that we were somehow spying on her using the Echo. We had a family member retrieve our dog from our home. That family member reported that towels were left on the powder room floor, bathroom floor and on the kitchen counters after Heidi departed. Our dog is more relaxed now that she is with someone who is patiently providing her with love and attention. There have been no further reports of anxiety or urinary incontinence. It is our belief that Heidi was not a good fit for our dog but may be a better fit for pets that only require routine care.
