My schedule is flexible and controlled predominantly by myself therefore I’m usually able to accommodate requests and work them into my day-to-day. Usually I do longer Sits (over a long weekend, or a month or more at a time) but it varies depending on the situation.

I’m very respectful of the routines of animals in your/their home. I stick to the routine they’re familiar with and am very conscious of their feelings. Normally I try to swing by and meet the animal kin before the Sit if possible just so they can see me interacting with their pet parent and feel more comfortable but that varies depending on the situation.

A typical day
Of course the day will depend on the animal kin’s existing routine. If they’re used to having a play and more activity, that’s what we’ll do. If they’re more relaxed, I’ll adapt to that! I like (consensual) cuddles, and going to walks, and playing with their toys. One cat I cared for liked to sit in a box tied to a string and be pulled around the house (haha).

Pet care experience
I’ve always had access to animals from a young age and it was my partial responsibility to help care for them. I have also worked on farms that exposed me to even more varieties of animals and gave me the opportunity to bond with them and understand different languages of pet loves. I don’t tend to have trouble demonstrating my trustworthy nature to animals, and seem to have a strange affinity with many variety of pets. I’m very respectful of people’s spaces and make sure to leave them as I found them. I garden a lot as well and will happily baby indoor plants if given care instructions on what you prefer.

Hannah is amazing! She made it a priority to understand our dogs’ needs and routines, was very flexible and accommodating of our travel plans, and the dogs absolutely loved her. She provided regular updates while we were away and we returned home to very happy boys and a spotless house. I would highly recommend her.
I am extremely happy with Hannah's work. She took wonderful care of my 4 senior pets, which all require medications and lots os attention. She made the whole process easy and comfortable, and kept me posted with lots of photos and videos. When I returned, I also realized my home was in better shape than when I left! 🤣 I will surely ask her for help again if needed. And I strongly recommend Hannah if you are looking for reliable and comfortable help.
Hannah was awesome with my two giant breed dogs. They tend to be nervous when my spouse and I are gone, but we knew they were being well looked after and loved from the moment Hannah met us for the meet and greet. Hannah sent lots of pictures and videos and daily updates with things like walks, bathroom regularities, moods & experiences while in the neighborhood. She made us feel so comfortable when leaving our boys. Additionally, Hannah noticed that our neighbours had their garbage out so took it upon herself to put our garbage out too, as well as changing out sheets for us and keeping our house immaculately clean. Couldn’t ask for someone better to look after Finn and Frank and our home.
Hannah was wonderful in guiding us through our first Rover experience. We were nervous leaving our two dogs with someone other than family or close friends for the first time and Hannah reassured us every step of the way. She took the best care of our girls and updated us everyday with pictures. It is very apparent Hannah cares for the animals she looks after. She was professional and respectful of our home. We would not hesitate to book Hannah for our future dog sitting needs.
