Safety, trust & environment

Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or at a client’s, my priority is to create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment that mirrors their routine and reduces stress. In My Home: I provide a calm, pet-friendly space where animals can feel at ease. I follow their feeding, walking, and sleeping routines closely, offer supervised playtime, and ensure they’re never left alone for long periods. I also separate pets when needed for safety and comfort, and I keep a clean, secure environment with pet-proofed areas. In the Client’s Home: I treat the space with respect and care while maintaining the pet’s familiar environment. I stick to their established schedule, including meals, walks, medication, and playtime. I also send regular updates, photos, and notes so pet parents feel connected and confident while they’re away. No matter the setting, I prioritize safety, communication, and individualized care so each pet feels loved and well cared for.

Information grisel m. would like to know about your pet

It’s very important for me to learn as much as I can about each pet ahead of time so I can provide the best possible care. I always ask about: Daily routine: Feeding times, walk schedules, bedtime, and preferred toys or activities Medical needs: Allergies, medications, physical limitations, or any recent health concerns Behavioral traits: How they react to strangers, other animals, loud noises, or being alone Training: Commands they know, crate habits, leash behavior, or ongoing training needs Triggers and sensitivities: Fears, separation anxiety, or areas of the home they should avoid Understanding these details in advance helps me build trust with the pet, avoid stress, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away.

A typical day

I love tailoring activities to each pet’s personality and energy level! For playful pups, we’ll go on enriching walks, play fetch, tug-of-war, or enjoy backyard playtime if available. For high-energy dogs, I can incorporate light agility exercises or structured games that help burn energy and stimulate their minds. For more relaxed pets or senior animals, I offer gentle play, brushing, slow-paced walks, and lots of cuddles and companionship. Cats enjoy interactive toys, laser pointers, window watching, and enrichment activities that keep them engaged. I also believe in bonding through routine and calm interaction—so every pet gets a mix of physical activity, mental stimulation, and quiet affection. And of course, I send regular photo updates to pet parents so they can share in the fun!

Reliable and Compassionate Pet Care

Pet care experience

What sets me apart from other sitters is my combination of reliability, experience, and genuine love for animals—paired with a calm, patient approach that pets respond to. I don’t just watch pets; I build trust with them. Whether it's helping a nervous pup feel safe, administering medications to a senior dog, or maintaining consistent routines for multi-pet households, I treat each animal as if they were my own.
