I am new to rover but I have tons of experience walking dogs and housesitting! I love spending time with dogs and getting to know their unique personalities. Caring for dachshunds, rescue dogs, and a deaf pit bull has taught me to be observant, and adapt to each dog’s individual needs.

Errolyn is absolutely fantastic when it comes to caring for animals. Her genuine love for pets shines through in everything she does. I’ve seen her interact with various animals, and she has an incredible ability to understand their needs and make them feel comfortable. Whether it’s walking dogs, feeding pets, or simply providing companionship, she approaches every task with enthusiasm and compassion. I would feel completely at ease having her look after my pets anytime, knowing they would be in such caring and capable hands.
Errolyn has cared for our 2 pups on many occasions, both long term in-house sitting and day walks. She is an absolutely lovely person who adores dogs. And we’ve always felt such peace of mind when away knowing she’s caring for them. She sends photos and updates and talks about them like they’re her own-regardless of whether it’s a day walk or during extended time away. My dogs love her too!

Errolyn is smart, well-educated and conscientious. She has been a dog or cat sitter and for a number of pets and people I know, including caring for a deaf dog and for elderly cats. With my own cats she has been exceptionally kind. I have known her for many, many years and would not hesitate to have her caring for my animals. She's fun to talk to and your pets would be lucky to hang around with her.

Schedule
I work Monday through Friday, so I’m available on weekends. And early morning/evening walks and home stays depending on what your dog needs. Every dog is different, so I’ll tailor each visit to what they enjoy and need most, whether that’s long walks, playtime, a trip to the park, or just relaxing. I enjoy spending my weekends outside, and having a dog to join me on a walk is always a lovely bonus.

Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I’ll follow their usual routine, respect their boundaries, and adapt my care to their personality and breed. I have doggy stairs for dachshunds to help protect their backs, and I’m happy to accommodate any special needs. I’ll treat your pup like my own and send plenty of photos and updates so you always know they’re happy and in good hands.
A typical day
We’ll spend our time on long walks, exploring new smells, playing at the park if they enjoy it, and getting plenty of exercise. My goal is a fun, enriching day that leaves them happy and tired.
