Prior to pet-sitting, I meet the animal(s) and guardian to discuss their companion's routines regarding: feeding, activities, timing, cleaning supplies and medical needs. I typically pet-sit in the animals home. I keep the housing/yard/litter boxes clean. Routine consistency: Strictly adhere to their dog-walking routes, feeding times, and medication schedules.Security: Double-check gates, doors, and fences upon entry and exit to prevent accidental escapes.Environment management: Secure hazardous items (e.g., cleaning supplies, human food) and adjust thermostats for weather extremes

Caring for / being with / exercising / playing with animals is an integral part of my life. I have lived with dogs and sometimes cats for all of my adult life.
