Hi there! My name is Emily and I have a huge passion for animals and love to shower them with love and affection. I've been surrounded by dogs my whole life and have been caring for dogs professionally for about 5 years. I have cared for all types of dogs, from Yorkie's to Pit Bull's to Golden Doodle's. I've had tons of experience of taking care of dogs in their own homes and adapting to their schedules. I'm also well accustomed to playing fetch and tug for hours on end! Working at a doggy daycare in my past has provided me with a lot of experience with all sizes, ages, and breeds of dogs. I would love to become your dogs friend!

I always follow the orders given by pet parents for the number and length of walks and love to run and play in the yard with your pup if permitted.

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter than Emily. She stayed overnight with Ringo and made visits throughout the day while we were out of state for 10 days, giving us complete peace of mind. Ringo has severe separation anxiety and is especially attached to my wife, so leaving him is never easy. Within minutes of us leaving, Emily sent photos of him playing and cuddling with her, which immediately put us at ease. Throughout our trip, she kept us updated with pictures and messages and was always responded to our texts. We were gone over the Fourth of July and during several severe thunderstorms, both of which terrify Ringo. Emily comforted him through it all and kept us informed on how he was doing. When she stopped by after our trip, Ringo was so excited to see her. That says everything, because he doesn’t warm up to just anyone. It’s obvious she truly loves animals and cared for Ringo like he was her own. She even left our house cleaner than we left it! We highly recommend Emily and will absolutely trust her with Ringo again.
Emily has watched Hummus a few times now and she’s been great every time. She’s always on time, stays overnight, and leaves my home clean and respected. Hummus loves Emily. She provides updates daily. She even noticed that Hummus was licking her paws a lot and let me know! Emily cares and it shows.
Emily watched Hummus over a long weekend and was absolutely wonderful. She was very respectful of my home and left everything spotless. She followed care instructions perfectly and sent frequent updates with the cutest pictures which gave me so much peace of mind. Hummus took to her right away which speaks to her warmth and genuine love for animals. I would happily book her again and highly recommend her!

Schedule
I currently work full time in Durham with a biotechnology emerging company, but I have some flexibility in my weekly schedule in order to adapt to your pets needs.
