I‘m currently working full time and I can provide a morning-, evening walk, feeding, brushing and bathing if requested. Recently, I took care of 2 Saint Bernards and a young male cat (there is no doggie door and it worked great with my schedule, beeing out for hours at work. I love to be outside, so I will spend as much time as possible, at a walk/ hike, playing with doggie toys or tossing a ball or freesby.

I life now in West Vail, 6 walking minutes from the Stephen’s dog-Park. I have a front porch, a patio and lawn area, so easy to have pee breaks. Around my home are nice ways to go for walks for exercise, digestion and stimulation.

Please share with me if you dog has any special needs I can attend to. Can he/she be off leash, does the dog prefer dog parks over walks? Is the dog aggressive toward other dogs, kids, bikers or runners?
A typical day
After our night rest - we will go outside for his/her relief. After, breakfast for both of us we will go on a longer walk (30min) if the dog enjoys playing we can do the „Launcher or other play’s to physically and mentally stimulate the dog.

In 2015 I rescued/ adopted Zack a 9 year old lab mix from SPCA in Greensboro, NC. Zack was taken care off by SPCA for 18month after his owner needed to move into a retirement home (no pets allowed). Zack and I had the pleasure to spend 5 beautiful and adventurous years together before he crossed the Rainbow bridge. Since my time with Zack, I enjoy being with dogs; however, I travel a lot so it is not a good time for me to have my own dog. Meanwhile, I‘m happy to take care of your dog / or cat.

Elke took amazing care of my pup and I will 1000% be requesting her services again. Her communication was great and she sent me several photos during Kobe’s visit. I was never once concerned, which is a relief while on vacation. I also appreciated her being willing to meet up beforehand to get to know Kobe a bit (she even brought treats!). If you need someone to watch your pup you are in great hands with Elke!
Elke is the best! She has been able to accommodate my last minute requests and is fantastic with our dog. She goes above and beyond to help out!
Elke took great care of Penny and was very accommodating with our schedule. She sent many updates while we were away, keeping us in the loop and we would definitely use Elke again!
