I am a patient, animal-loving sitter. Comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages, I have experience training and offering positive reinforcement for my own dogs as well as my friends and neighbors. I have rescued 3 hospice dogs, and am comfortable and confident caring for senior dog and those who need medications or physical assisance, including deaf and blind dogs. I'm known in my neighborhood as the woman to call when a dog is loose or a stray is in the area and I have connections at multiple rescue organizations!

I will look to you for understanding the limitations of your comfort with your pet, and will follow your instructions to a T! In your home, I will be respectful of any rules and restrictions. On walks, unless notified, I will provide positive reinforcement and stay on leash and avoid meeting all strangers and other animals.

Devon as always is so great with my little demon dogs
Devon was a great dog sitter! She did a wonderful job following all of Bailey’s care instructions and had her snuggling with him within a couple of hours of arriving! She was great at giving me updates about how things were going while I was gone, including photos, and I felt totally at ease the whole week I was gone. She took great care of my place and everything was neat and tidy when I came back and I will absolutely be working with Devon again! You should too!
Devon is absolutely amazing. We booked her on short notice for a Thanksgiving trip, she was very responsive when scheduling the meet and greet. My dogs took to her immediately and were following her around. She asked great questions about the dogs, even about things I did not think about mentioning. She was the perfect house guest, and did such a good job with both my dogs who have many medications to take, idiosyncrasies and preferences that need to be accommodated. Came home to two happy, calm dogs and a tidy home. Cannot recommend Devon enough, she is truly a gem!
Devon was awesome with our quirky dogs. She was really good about communicating about her two visits each day and how they did on their walks, their eating, their chill time and any odd or funny things they did (we expect them to be ridiculous). She just rolled with their behaviors and worked really hard with our one dog that has a bit of "stranger danger" and they became good friends by the end. We'd hire her anytime! She is calm, funny and confident with dogs.
Devon did a great job caring for our kitties while we were gone! She was very thorough during the home visits, followed all of the instructions we left for her, let us know if either cat had issues with its food, and played with them and gave them affection. They loved her! We'll definitely be reaching out to Devon for cat care next time we travel.

Schedule
I'm currently working remotely in 9-5 setting, which limits my flexibility somewhat. However, as a pet parent myself, I understand the need to maintain routine for your pet, especially in your absence, so I’m happy to work with you to keep your pet as comfortable as possible.
