This is the first time we have allowed a sitter to pick up our babies and stay in their home. Denise was amazing! She loved on our babies and they were very happy. Highly recommend Denise. She is made for loving on our fur babies when we need to travel.
Denise was great! Walked us through her dog sitting process and set up prior to booking and kept in touch throughout the stay with lots of photos 💕 Was very proactive with making sure our pups were well taken care of and comfortable.

Schedule
I work a job in which I mostly make my own schedule, so fitting in time for extra pets is never hard. Most dogs transition into my dog’s and my routine fairly quick, but I can adjust to their needs, too. If they need midnight pee breaks for instance. Pick up and drop offs hours are between 7a-7p and are scheduled as a 20 min window of time so no pups over lap their time for arrival or departure. Please arrive at your scheduled time because my day is micro planned between job and dog schedule of play, feedings, other pups arriving or leaving, meet and greets, and also fitting in a life. If you are late or going to be late, please notify me as soon as you realize and we can rebook another opening for your pup. Thank you for understanding and helping to see my time as valuable. No pick up or drop offs on holidays (Easter Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, etc), Please arrange for the day before or after the holiday. Thank you

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet will be indoors, with supervised time in the fenced in yard with pool multiple times a day. I crate pups when necessary, especially if I am going to leave the house (this is a safety precaution), during feedings, and at night. You must be okay with your pup being crated. I can teach your pup if they are not accustom to crate time. You can bring your own crate or I have a few here, definitely bring something that smells like home to add to their crate. Dog area is anywhere in the downstairs area, with the exception of my bed. I have a strict no dogs on bed policy, but cuddles on the couch is fine. I accept a few families of pets at a time so that all pets get enough attention.

A typical day
I keep jars of American made treats on my counter and love to see what tricks your pup may know. Ask me about the brands I buy and ingredient list. I always keep dog toys in the house and in the yard to try to entice play, fetch, tug of war. Then there is also the in ground pool, plus a small plastic kiddie pool, or the hose for water play on hot days. I introduce all dogs to the pool, but I have had a couple that just weren’t into it and I will never force a pup to go beyond their comfort. Plus, I schedule in cuddle time or just a brushing, one on one with each pup, as well as my own, so each dog gets to have a special moment each day. Again, I feel this out specific to each animal, some just aren’t cuddlers, but they like the brushing or treat training attention.

- You must be okay with you pup having crate time, it is a safety thing for when I must leave the house or if dogs need separate playtime. I can train your pup the word crate. You can bring your own crate or use one of the ones I have here. I like to know about food allergies, so I know which treats may be given. If any Skin allergies, so I know which shampoo to use or if they have a sensitivity to chlorine. If the pup is good with other dogs or needs to have their own personal free time in the yard (I have two back yards & this is an easy adjustment). I will need to see they are up to date on shots and that they are bug free, being on a parasite preventative is a plus.
