Hello! My name is Chardonay, my partner Ben and I LOVE Animals! Here are some unique skills & specialized care experience that we obtain: -First Aid & CPR -Oral, Topical and Injected Medications -XL Breeds (Great Danes, Mastiff, GSD, and More) -All levels of Separation Anxiety -Dog Reactive & Walking, Leash Reactive -Deaf/Blind and special needs -Resource Guarding/ Food Possessive -Dog Body Language/ Altercation Intervention -Post Spay/Neuter Care -Senior Dog & Puppy Care -Go Slow needs (Timid pups) We were both raised with always having Foster Pets along with those of our own (Dogs, Cats, Livestock, Small Animals, Birds, Reptiles)! My Mother worked as the Animal Care Manager at the Oregon Humane Society for 19 years so I grew up with a passion for dogs and would love to have the opportunity to be there for them (Along with ANY animals) when they need someone. I learned at a very young age how to read dog behavior and how to train them as well, and my experience grew as I too joined the Oregon Humane Society in 2008 as an Adoption Counselor and Animal Care Technician. Most Recently, I worked at a pet hotel/daycare as a trained Supervisor in the Client and Guest Services departments. During my time there I handled the pups daily, assessed their health throughout the day, intervened during dog to dog altercations, treated minor injuries, and took guests to the vet as needed. I am Certified in pet CPR and First Aid! Ben is also an animal lover and gives AMAZING walks during our stays! He works with our guests by providing patience and affection in caregiving. He has spent years around animals while training, feeding, rescuing and handling all sizes from horses to chihuahuas! Ben brings a calming energy to animals, in which they seem to adore and gravitate to :) Throughout our years of experience we have obtained many skills; Animal Handling, Training, Surgery after care, Dog walking, Medication Administration, TLC and more:) For your Furry Loved one, a day with us would include: -Long walks -Playing Fetch -LOTS of TLC -Jogging/ Small trails -Basic Commands Training (if you'd like) w/ Treats Plus Much More!
