I will have dogs on leash the entire walk, and can let dogs out potty in your back yard based on your needs. Play time in the backyard or inside the house, in a safe environment. I can scoop litter and take care of cats too. I will take care of them as my own and look forward to meeting your 4 legged fur kids
Information Cathy R. would like to know about your pet
I'd like basic information about the dogs. type of dog, size, leash manners. Are they ok to walk past another dog, or do I need to cross the street. How is the dogs prey drive, meaning how do they react when seeing a bunny or cat. any other important information would be helpful.
A typical day
During our walks, I like to do some basic training. Leash work, sits, and walking nicely. I only do positive training. This helps keeps the dog stimulated while on our walk. I like finding trails near by so they can get lots of sniffs. For drop ins, we can play in the backyard or inside the house.

I volunteered at a local shelter for 15 years as a dog walker. I have lots of experience with any age dog including puppies and seniors. I have worked extensively with trainers and can provide basic, light training while on our walks and drop ins if desired. I have experience with giving meds, including injectables. I've had dogs since I was young, and 7 of my own dogs. Currently I have a 5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback (Emma) and a 2 year old rescue from Mexico (Kiwi). We got Emma as a puppy, and anyone who knows Ridgebacks, know they are high energy. We did many levels of training including agility. Kiwi flew up from Mexico at 4 months old, but something happened to her down there. She is skittish and doesn't like to break routine. I have worked with her and a trainer one on one to help her.
