I have experience with a wide range of dogs--young and playful to older and reserved, social dogs and shy dogs. I believe in establishing an environment of calm and safety so that dogs can learn I am trustworthy and safe human to be around/play with/walk with. I have experience dealing with dogs with medical issues, recovering from surgery, etc. I also have experienced with reactive dogs and socially anxious dogs. Overall, I believe in paying close attention to the info provided by the dogs' humans and making sure to stick to what the owners say works for their fur baby.

I am very interested in any information that can help me make sure your dog has a safe, healthy, and enjoyable time with me. Some examples of information include any health issues, medication needs, how they respond to other dogs on walks, how they respond to other humans, any fears they might have (loud sounds, rain, etc). Every dog is unique, and I appreciate being able to tailor your dogs' experience to their personality.
A typical day
A typical day will vary depending on the needs and likes of the dog. I always defer to the parents' wishes and so am able to accommodate a wide range of preferred activities--from long walks for energetic dogs to long snuggle sessions for our less athletic friends :) Since dogs are, generally speaking, creatures who like routine, I appreciate when humans provide a schedule or outline of the dogs' typical day to minimize any anxiety/disruptions.

Pet care experience
I have one eight-year-old lab mix rescue, Lily (featured in my profile pic enjoying a pup cup from Starbucks) and a six-year old cat rescue, Hildi. I love walking doggies, hanging out with kitties, and can feed and administer medication. I'm a graduate student at GW, so I have a flexible schedule can usually do short-notice walks.

Great communication and care of our kitty while we were away on a long trip!
Camilla was great with my cat! Spent quality time with him, kept up with his food, water, and litter, was extremely responsive, and kept me updated! My cat and I really enjoyed her sitting for us.
Camilla did a wonderful job looking after our shy kitty. I will be rebooking and 100 recommend Camilla.
Very pleasant and great communication but struggled with detailed tasks and some major mistakes occurred.
