Experienced caretaker for pets
I have over two years of combined experience on Rover (August 2017-May 2019, and January 2023-September 2023), and 15+ years of working as a neighborhood pet sitter as a child, dog walking and sitting on Rover, volunteering at shelters, and taking care of mine and my family’s and friends’ pets. My experience includes training puppies, taking care of senior cats and dogs, pet sitting disabled cats and dogs, and working with dogs who have separation anxiety. I also have experience taking care of reptiles and amphibians! I hope that when taking care of your pets I can accommodate to any of their preferences and personality traits that make them wonderful and unique! I’m very active and would spend most of the time with your pet playing with them in my backyard, going on walks, hanging out at the park and socializing your dog with other pups and people (if that is an activity you are comfortable with). I understand how stressful it can be for a pet to be away from their owner, so I hope we can work together to make sure your pet is enjoying their time in a safe environment while you are away. ∪＾ェ＾∪

I highly recommend her. She is very professional in her interactions with us. Charlie took to her immediately at the meet and greet she arranged. She checked with me the morning of our first dog sitting session to see if the time still worked for us. She arrived on time and did things with Charlie while we were gone.
Anna was great about communicating while we were away. She kept us in the loop with photos and texts. I would recommend Anna.
Anna was a great sitter for my two cats. She was patient with their needs and quirks. She made sure our shyest cat felt safe and comfortable. She provided excellent photo and written updates everyday. I highly recommend.
Anna did a great time with my old english sheepdog...especially in light of the double snowstorms we had.
Anna is a natural. My puppy loved her right away. Usually my pup barks at new people. She did a great job with him. I could tell when I got home that he was taken good care of.
Roo greatly enjoyed her time with Anna! Will definitely request walks with her again!

Schedule
I work for the US Forest Service from Monday-Thursday, so I have full availability to petsit from Friday-Sunday. I currently spend my weekends doing Rover for extra cash, and just to spend time with animals.

In my own home, I have a large, wooded yard and a cat who warms up very quickly to dogs since I worked part time on Rover when she was very young. I have three room mates who love to spend time with the dogs I petsit. I live within walking distance to forest trails, a boat ramp to swim at, and a neighborhood park. Whether at my home or yours, I will make sure your dog gets enough play time, enough attention and sticks to their usual eating and walking schedules.

A typical day
I would love to play catch with your dog in my yard, take your dog on walks around the safe neighborhood I live in, show your dog around the wooded trails behind my house and spend time with your pet giving them plenty of pets and attention.
