Remote Worker! Lg Grassy Backyard!

Use code ANDREF19057 on your first Rover booking with me to receive $20 off! With over 24 years of pet care experience, I’ve seen it all—from bouncy puppies learning the ropes to mellow seniors needing a little extra TLC. Whether it’s crate training, potty breaks, leash manners, or medication routines, I’m here to provide reliable, loving care tailored to your dog’s unique needs. My wife and I both work from home, which means your pup will get tons of attention, love, and supervision throughout the day—no long hours alone! We also send daily updates and cute photo check-ins so you always know how your furry friend is doing. We share our home with our 7-year-old Golden Retriever, Dax, who is incredibly sweet, playful, and gets along with dogs of all sizes. He’s the ultimate canine host—gentle, well-mannered, and always up for a game of chase or a cozy nap buddy. At the end of the day, I treat every dog like part of the family. My goal is simple: keep them happy, safe, and tail-wagging until you're back home.

Good communication, as advertised, and our pup seemed to have enjoyed his stay! We would board him with Andrew again and would recommend Andrew to others.

Andrew was easy to communicate with and flexible. Carmine seemed to be right at home with their family and Dax. He took a hard nap right when we got home - signs of a great day!

We had a great experience with Andrew! He watched our two dogs while we attended a family party in the neighborhood and was incredibly accommodating. Our dogs were happy and well taken care of when we picked them up. We especially loved his lab Dax, who was so welcoming to them. We wouldn't hesitate to use his services again and highly recommend him!

Andrew and his wife were fantastic! My husband and I were gone for a few days and it was great to know that we were leaving our dog in such great hands. My dog tends to pull a bit (husky mix) and plays a bit rough, so I tend to worry she might act up during her over night boarding. Andrew provided daily updates and pictures and it looked like she was having a blast. When I picked her up, it almost seemed like she didn’t want to go home! Great communication, attentive, kind, a wonderful family, and their family dog Dax was a fantastic bonus play mate for my dog! Highly recommend Andrew!

Schedule

Working from home gives me the flexibility to keep your pup on a steady, comforting routine. We start each morning with a breakfast & outside time in the backyard—perfect for stretching those legs and getting the day started right! In the afternoon, we head back out to our grassy backyard for a play break and a quick game of fetch with Dax (our friendly Golden Retriever). After that, it’s back inside for some well-earned R&R. Dinner is typically served between 5–6pm, followed by a relaxed evening and one last potty break around 8–9pm before winding down for the night. Your dog will enjoy a balanced mix of activity, attention, and calm downtime throughout the day—all while feeling right at home. We’re total homebodies and love spending time outside, so your pup will always have company. On the rare occasion we do leave the house, it’s never for more than 3 to 4 hours at a time—ensuring your dog is never alone for long.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pup will feel right at home here! We have a spacious grassy backyard that’s perfect for playtime, and our Golden Retriever, Dax, is always happy to have a new buddy to chase balls, tug ropes, or just lounge in the sun with. We keep plenty of toys around—chew toys, ropes, balls, and bones—to keep everyone entertained and enriched. For rest and relaxation, there are cozy dog beds inside and shaded spots outside for warm afternoon naps. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to free-roam and make themselves comfortable throughout the home. Puppies or dogs still working on their manners will have their own safe space, with crate or gated areas where they can relax and feel secure. We aim to create a balanced environment that’s fun, structured, and stress-free—just like home (maybe even better)!

Pets

A typical day

We believe every dog deserves a little adventure—even if it’s just in the backyard! While staying with us, your pup will enjoy a full lineup of tail-wagging activities. Think lots of pets, belly rubs, and one-on-one attention throughout the day. We keep things fun with fetch in the yard, tug-of-war, chew bones, and a good game of chase with our Golden Retriever, Dax. When it’s time to wind down, we’ve got cozy dog beds for naps, treats for good behavior, and plenty of cuddle time. Some pups even love movie night with us—we’re always happy to share the couch and a comfy blanket! Whether your dog is playful and energetic or more of a snuggle bug, we’ll make sure they feel loved, entertained, and totally at home every step of the way.

Andrew can host up to 4 pets per night
To make sure your pup has the best (and safest!) stay possible, I like to learn a few things ahead of time. Most importantly, please let me know if your dog has any history of aggression toward people or other dogs. For the safety of our home and our sweet Golden Retriever, Dax, we aren’t able to accept pets with aggressive behavior. I also appreciate a heads-up if your dog tends to bark excessively, whine frequently, or struggles with separation anxiety. These things aren’t deal breakers, but understanding your dog’s needs helps us prepare and create the right environment for them. Please let me know: Is your dog crate trained? Is your dog house trained? Do they get along well with other dogs? Do they have any triggers, special routines, or quirks I should know about? The more I know, the better I can care for your pup like one of our own!
