Empty Nesting Pet Lover
We brought home our 1st puppy when our eldest daughter was 8 weeks old. Everything since then has been easy! Currently have an 8yr old Golden Retriever with a fenced in backyard. Each of our grown children took in a dog or puppy once they had their own homes. We have had cats, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs over the years.

Schedule
I'm recently semi-retired and my daughters have used Rover for their dogs in far away states. I thought it would be a nice way to give our dog a playmate every once in a while.

We have a large fenced in yard which your dog can run around or hangout with our dog if they'd like. Our house is split level so there could be 6 stairs at time to go up & down. I love to walk our dog & listen to books or podcasts.
Pets
A typical day
We have lots of toys to play with, a yard to throw a ball or frisbee around. Phoebe, our golden retriever to horse around with. We can take walks in our neighborhood, or just sit outside & watch the squirrels and rabbits.

Preferences for taking walks (yes/no/length). Toys or treats they enjoy. Where they like to sleep. Anxieties like thunder, loud noises, children etc. And anything else you think is important.
