“Asher can be apprehensive when it comes to meeting new people and fur friends, but he was instantly comfortable with Cyrus. You can easily tell how knowledgeable about animals Cyrus is and how much he loves being around them by the way he talks. We especially felt comfortable knowing that his house is animal friendly, safe and spacious for our fur babies to roam. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Amazing doesn’t begin the describe Ashley! This is the first time I boarded Yoshi away from home. Yoshi can get anxious so I was concerned how everything would go but Ashley was perfect! She sent me so many posts and pictures that I knew that Yoshi wasn’t just being taken care of but he was loved. She took him everywhere and he was clearly part of her family when he stayed with her. I would definitely use Ashely again when in Myrtle beach. I just wish I could give her more than 5 stars🐾♥️🐾♥️”

“Joe and Celeste are such nice people and my Gunnar felt right at home. They have a large beautiful fenced in yard for running, playing and exercise. They treated Gunnar like one of the family. I didn't stress or worry leaving my furbaby with them since they are truly dog lovers. Celeste texted me daily with pics and videos of Gunnar. He was quite happy. We will definitely bring our dog again soon!”

“Mary was excellent. Accepted Kali on a short notice. She was very welcoming and kind. Treated Kali like her own and took her for car rides and let her sit co-pilot. Kali was well taken care of. Would definitely use her again!”

“Maddie and Granger were awesome! Chessie had such a good time and was exhausted when she got home—a good sign, for her! She even ate for Maddie, which is astonishing—she is sooo finicky! We got pictures and video and could definitely tell she was having fun. When she got home she curled up on the sofa and crashed. We can’t wait for her to go back!”

“Skyla took great care of Trigger. She is very accommodating and kept me informed of how he was doing. Her pup Louie and Trigger were great pals. Trigger made himself right at home.”

“We were very nervous about leaving Layla, our Shihtzu for 2 nights. But Layla was comfortable with Luciana the moment we dropped her off. Her and her husband were both great and sent several pictures and videos to assure us Layla was in good hands. We will not hesitate to use them again.”

“Lauren took such great care of Rivers while he stayed with her for a week! She kept me updated with pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Rivers got along wonderfully with her dogs and came home happy and well cared for. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

“Debbie was great! Our sitter wouldn’t answer us when it was time to drop our baby off and so we have to last minute switch and Debbie met us right away and we felt totally comfortable leaving our boy with her! Will be using again ♥️”

“Craig has cared for my standard poodle Amelia a few times now, most recently this June. She always comes home happy. He takes excellent care of her and I will always request him when I need to leave her when I travel. He communicates how she is doing, sends the most wonderful pictures of her on a regular basis. He is a gem. I am grateful that I found him.”

“Jorie is wonderful! We have used her services multiple times and couldn’t be happier! You can really tell she loves dogs. She is excellent at providing text and picture updates to give you peace of mind while you are away on a trip. Finley had a great time visiting and playing with her pup Bailey. This last time he was so excited to visit he was pulling on the leash to get inside Jorie’s house. I think that shows you that Finley loves it there. (I can tell you that he sure doesn’t do that when we go to the groomer… lol). I Definitely recommend Jorie to care for your furry family member.”

“Lauren did a great job babysitting our 10 year old dog Cotton. Cotton got along well with her 2 dogs and seemed happy and content when we picked him up. Lauren was very easy to work with, scheduling drop-off and pick-up at times convenient for us. We will definitely book Lauren again on our next trip away.”

“Janet agreed to board Pinto Bean for 3 days on short notice when I found out the Myrtle Beach resort my family booked was not pet-friendly, after all. She made him feel right at home, and he had a blast running and playing with her small dog, Racer. She sent updates and photos every day, which put my mind at ease, and even gave me some training tips for him when I picked him up. Janet, thank you, and I'm sure Pinto Bean will be seeing you again someday!”

“Hallie is probably one of the BEST sitters I’ve ever used. She was so accommodating to my schedule changes, took great care of my dog, and went out her way to make sure things ran smoothly. She even sent my puppy home with the cutest crochet collar!”

“Elvera was very friendly and asked questions to ensure She knew my dog prior to her stay and at drop off. She quickly responded to my questions before and during Maggie’s stay. She gave me updates and pictures during her stay. I would highly recommend her or use her services again”

“Janice was so patient with my older dog Bella. She not only gave her great care. she also kept me informed. It’s very obvious that Janice is a fur baby lover. I highly recommend her fear pet boarding needs.”

“If you’re considering hiring Brianna for pet care, just go for it :)! She is trustworthy, reliable, flexible, and a very fast communicator. Our Lily had a blast with her dog Kita :)! We were afraid she wouldn’t want to go home with us lol. Brianna gave us extra peace of mind with all of the pictures and updates she sent. Plus, knowing she had vet tech xp made us feel safe leaving Lily behind after her recent surgery. She was returned to us super happy, healthy, and exhausted :). We hope Brianna ywill be able to watch her again next time! (THANK YOU AGAIN!!)”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
