Jenn and Derek took real good care of Penny while I was visiting TN . Penny had a blast. She was safe and well cared. I received updates on her frequently including pictures of her and the activities she did. She looked like she was home. Great job. Well done. I would recommend your services. Thank you Jenn and Derek. Great team work.

Tatum was great! If we need someone to watch Leroy again in this area, we will certainly take him to Tatum again. We recommend her highly: great communication, flexibile, and our fur baby was safe and happy there.

Trina was amazing with Kane! He got a nose bleed, while I was on vacation, and he was in her care. She immediately notified me that night and promptly took him 40 minutes away to his vet; which actually saved his life! The vet said he probably wouldn't have made it until his appointment that next Monday! Honestly,I thought it was probably like a human and no big deal. I was wrong. He was recovering from a few things(which she and the vet knew all about the situation) I'm glad I did talk to the vet prior since she had to take him in. I would trust Trina with any of my fur babies! She was amazing and honestly did save my dogs life. She had to make that 40-60 minute drive twice for us! She was a great choice and a God send. I almost left him with my 19 year old who didn't go. I'm SOOOO glad I didn't! Thank you Trina! You will Alessia be my dog sitter!

Christina did a really great job watching my Fur baby Kimmy over Thanksgiving! They let her hangout on the porch, took her on walks, sent me pictures, and even gave her some of the Thanksgiving Turkey! I was worried that kimmy would just want to stay there forever haha thanks Christina and I will definitely try booking with you again

I cannot say enough good things! my puppies had a safe and private place where they were secure and comfortable. I got photos and updates letting me know how they were doing. When we had a bit of a car problem and our pick up time changed unexpectedly - Sharon was gracious and understanding Was so glad the dogs safe and not sitting on the side of the road while we figured out tge issue. Highly recommend!

About: Hi! My name is Candice, and I have over 25 years of hands-on animal care experience, along with volunteer experience with an animal rescue organization. Caring for animals has been a lifelong passion, not just a job. I have extensive experience caring for: • Dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and temperaments • Horses, cows, pigs, and chickens • Rabbits, hamsters, and gerbils • Birds • Reptiles, including chameleons • Freshwater and saltwater fish My rescue background has given me strong skills working with shy, anxious, senior, and special-needs animals, as well as pets that need extra patience, structure, and reassurance. EmberTail Pet Care on Facebook and Instagram Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because caring for animals has been a consistent part of my life for over 25 years. I structure my schedule to allow dedicated time for walks, drop-ins, feeding routines, playtime, and check-ins so each pet receives attentive, unrushed care. Throughout the week, I prioritize reliability and flexibility to accommodate different pet schedules, whether that means morning walks, midday visits, evening care, or overnight stays. I also build in time for communication and updates so pet parents feel informed and confident while they’re away. Because animal care is something I genuinely enjoy, it’s not something I “fit in” — it’s something I intentionally plan my day around. My care approach is always tailored to each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level. Whether I’m caring for pets in a client’s home or providing drop-ins and walks, I focus on consistency, safety, and creating a calm environment. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, litter or habitat maintenance, exercise, and enrichment. I respect the home as if it were my own and aim to keep pets on their normal routine so they feel secure and stress-free. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can feel confident while they’re away. During walks and drop-in visits, I prioritize safety, awareness of surroundings, and positive interaction. Walks are customized to the pet’s energy level, and visits include playtime, potty breaks, fresh water, feeding if needed, and companionship. With over 25 years of experience and animal rescue volunteer work, I’m comfortable caring for pets of all temperaments, as well as small animals, reptiles, and farm animals when needed. My goal is always to provide reliable, compassionate care so pets feel comfortable and loved in their familiar environment.

About: I’ve always taken care of animals, growing up with cats and dogs in our house was such a blessing and now I want to share my love for all pets with others! I am lucky enough to work full time from home which leaves me with plenty of extra time to take care of your four legged baby. Walks, park play time, and even light training would be part of the normal routine when they stay will me! I have a fenced in dog park and small walking trail at my apartment complex as well as access to several public parks and local waking trails nearby. My place is always clean and safe for even the most nosey of pets!

I know when my dogs stay with Amanda they will be cared for like family. She takes Dexter on hikes to the waterfalls and and long walks. He loves running around the yard with Yukon and Denali and plays all day. He’s pooped out by the end of the day and sleeps well. Dexter whines as we get closer to their home because he’s excited to visit. Charlie my older dog enjoys relaxing in the yard and taking snoozes. I highly recommend for your fur babies.

Shelly is beyond amazing! This was our first time to Leave our furry baby with anyone besides family and we were more than impressed. Not only is Shellys home clean and dog friendly but her and her two dogs are lovely as can be. I think our dog Finkle misses them already! We can’t recommend Shelly enough!

  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
