Of course..should be a requirement when a situation such as a claim, suit. rover won't back you up (which is very sad). You're on your own. I personally require my clients to sign an enrollment form and a waiver with policies of what should be expected and stating that they are responsible for vets bills etc. as far as the Rover insurance...if the client does not reimburse you...you're lost. forget about getting that money back because you won't. Telling you because of the experience that my partner had while caring for a sick dog which client never told us their dog was sick....so A waiver is a MUST! you're independent contractor so do what you gotta do for yourself! |

| answered a question | What can I give my dog for kennel cough? I experienced this with my little one and no good. Go to the Vet the best i can tell you and they will give you antibiotics give it a week at least for it to work! in the meantime give him love! cause my dog was all in a corner and did not want to move. I have experienced that some owners will contact me and ask me if I am able to sit their pet, I tell them right away that I am available for the dates and also let them know that if they want to set the meet and greet and then they will say that they are going to text me back and they dont get back to me at all..I even sent them a follow up and no response? Any one experiencing this? Any advise on how to book people right away will be a tremendous help! |
