Does anyone have their clients sign a waiver of responsibility?

I am new to Rover. Is there a waiver or a similar release of responsibility form for clients to sign? If so, is there a sample of what it should look like?

Rover does not supply such forms. Customers and sitters receive the benefit of Rover's limited insurance coverage (see the Terms of Service). However, you can easily Google for waiver templates and ask clients to sign, in the same manner as some sitters require owners to sign veterinary release forms.

Of course..should be a requirement when a situation such as a claim, suit. rover won't back you up (which is very sad). You're on your own. I personally require my clients to sign an enrollment form and a waiver with policies of what should be expected and stating that they are responsible for vets bills etc. as far as the Rover insurance...if the client does not reimburse you...you're lost. forget about getting that money back because you won't. Telling you because of the experience that my partner had while caring for a sick dog which client never told us their dog was sick....so A waiver is a MUST! you're independent contractor so do what you gotta do for yourself!

Sitters and owners agree to the Rover terms of service on line, there are not additional forms to sign. https://www.rover.com/tos/

I'd like to add that since you are an independent contractor you are welcome to have clients sign whatever forms you would like! You can create your own, but remember using Rover's logo, etc... is a violation of TOS.
