I never charge daycare. I just don''t see any point to it. a couple bucks and most clients find it irritating. But I also have a 2 night minimum. I know situations are different, but I live near an international airport, so I get a lot of business travelers.

Also as Walt stated, if you are going to charge daycare for late pick ups, then it needs to be stated on your profile and discussed prior to booking the stay.

I have 2 of the ona gel containers. they are ugly, so i just dumped the gel into mason jars. now i can adjust how open they are a little better and they look a little better sitting out. and the ona spray. I carry it like a gun! no but for real. i use in on furniture and in the air. I will mist it over air vents after I clean.

Last weekend I had 900 pounds of dogs! mine is 200 mastiff add pit bulls and GSD and boxers. I often have clients ask how I keep the smell in my house so fresh now!!!

I have found that the 1st booking is the hardest. Try the park or walking your own pup. ALWAYS carry business cards. I wear my rover shirt as much as possible. And enjoy. Offer to do walking for friends and family. they can then give oyou a review as a verified stay which will help get you off and running.

Promote! I started with cards at the dog park and a rover t-shirt! i wore ti on walks and passed out cards. I got a friend to give me my 1st stay, which got a verified stay and 5 stars, and from there I just promote my self when I can.

when you hit a slump you will need to re-market yourself. I suggest getting a friend or 2 to book a walk with you and then post a review. these are now verified stay reviews and will help get your business in motion again. dog parks and other dog friendly venues are a great place to had out cards and promote. I suggest a rover shirt when you do. it adds to the level of professionalism you show and attracts the curious people

Membership? As a sitter or Owner? As an owner there is nothing to cancel. You are not charged as a member only for reservations. As a sitter, if you want to remove your profile, set it to all Away, and then call rover to completely shut it down.

you can cancel after you have paid. check their cancellation policy(each sitter gets to set their policy to one of 3 settings). If it is strict you may have to call Rover for more assistance. but I would definitely Move on. If there is a reason she can't respond timely, she needs to tell you why

i agree with paige. my pup did this with a lose tooth when he was losing baby teeth. one was kinda stuck and driving him nutty. yanked it and he was a happy boy

Honestly, get a friend or someone to let you do a walk or overnight. have them use your promo code and give you a 5 star verified visit rating. make sure to take a picture and post through the ap. do everything even correspondence through the ap. After you get that 5 star on your profile it will be easier to pick up new clients. Also make sure you take Rover 101. it adds a badge to your profile and you get a promo code for a free box of business cards through the rover store.

I'm on DV and I get nothing there. one request that didn't even remotely fall in my guidelines, and a Rover client/sitter trying to get in without paying puppy rates. so i took neither... that is in 3 months
