Pet parents are not interested in meeting with me prior to the booking. I am losing many opportunities by requiring it.

I am losing opportunities because the pet parent either doesn't have time or is not interested in meeting with me prior to the service like boarding for instance. Anyone else experiencing this issue and how do you cope. Thanks

I had a Meet and Greet scheduled for today (Sunday, December 11th 2016). The pet parent is not here. There has been no communication between us besides a phone call from me clarifying some information. She didn't acknowledge the Meet and Greet. All texts were not acknowledged. Let me clarify: Since we were under a snow storm warning yesterday, I offered to reschedule the meeting. I was trying to be mindful of her safety. She is a Rover sitter as well from Chicago, IL How do I archieve the request? I don't want this to negatively impact me.

As part of my meet and greets, I usually take the dog outside for a walk to see how they do with Because it is going to be SOOOO hot out, I would be happy to reschedule the Meet and Greet for sometime next week, after the weather breaks. I just want to make sure Pepper is comfortable.

I think she already assumes that the dog is going to be ok. When I initially asked, the remark was "I'm retired, I won't melt" with a smily face. I'm not comfortable with the heat and I don't want the dog to be exposed either. Should I just let her know via text that I need to cancel the M&G ?

I received a boarding request even though I marked myself as unavailable. The problem is this I don't feel it is safe when we are experiencing extreme heat to have a meet and greet. I initiially brought this to her attention. I had come out and asked if she wanted to schedule it after the "heat wave" is over. I assumed she would realize that it was for the dogs comfort. In my neighborhood there is barely any trees because of the ash borer sp? She made a remark about herself instead. My husband and I tried for Sunday evening. It's still going to be too hot. We did exchange numbers. Since I've experienced some parents responses that are not very kind, I was afraid to tell her that I meant the dog not her.
