answered a question | What service is more popular - boarding or dog walking? I've been sitting with Rover for years and wasn't even aware that they marketed dog walking. Never had one request ever. I signed up with Wag for that but they're the WORST. I wish i got walking requests from Rover because they've been great to work for so and am curious if it's just my area? |
answered a question | How do I deal with owners who take advantage? I started putting it in my profile, that helps a lot. It's all in the wording. I want to be flexible but I also have a life and have plans and others that need me. One thing that owners tend to understand when I explain my policy is that while maybe it doesn't require that much more work to extend a few hours (although it does, assuming you walk the dog every 4 hours or so), it also can keep me from taking another client for that night that may need to drop off at 5 or 6 pm but their (I personally don't take more than 1 dog for boarding. So there's opportunity cost potentially as well. |
commented question | Not sure if I am overreacting or if this is creepy??...please help? Cancel the booking and contact Rover. I would contact Rover first actually. They should assist you in this and take this seriously because that is really innaproproate and scary. I bet he'd have security cameras set up on your stay. really want to hear about how rover handles this. |

asked a question | How many hours do you consider to be a full day of doggie day care? If a client needs a 10 hour work day, would you consider that your regular day care rate ? How many hour is your half day rate if you have one? I'm thinking anything over 6 or 8 rolls into my "boarding rate" which is 24 hours. Also, do you include a 30 minute walk in your posted day care rate? |
