asked a question How long does it take for me to show on search results after being AWAY?

I was delivering a baby and was in the hospital for several days. My account automatically turned on AWAY. I just reactivated my account but I still do not see myself in the search results. Does it take time?

asked a question If a customer does not rate you after a stay, do you still rise in search results?

A customer claimed to love my service and will return but he did not give me a rating. Will this effect me when customers search for sitters?

answered a question Are the Rover sitters bonded and licensed?

There are badges at the top of each persons profile that you look at which will tell you who has had a background check etc. All the sitters that sign up here do have a 24/7 emergency thing when we watch over owners pets. Refer to the links given by Jessica.

answered a question Who pays for the food?

Dog owners some times have their pets on certain schedules and a certain diet. I try and make sure that the pet owner brings their pets their own food. They should bring a leash, food, and toys that is what I say. You should not have to buy anything for their dog unless you want to.

answered a question What to do when a dog won't sleep?

Play with her, wear her out, walk her, etc. I had the same problem on my first stay with a dog except I was up till 4am because he would not stop whining and clawing at doors. It might be separation anxiety so making her tired will calm her down. Also, I read on a trainer website that a dog with these qualities is usually because of bad behavior issues and the place is still new to them so it takes time and patience. If you have a fenced in yard that is great so you can let her out and wear herself out.

answered a question My dog won't go potty outside. Only on wee pads.

We have a Chihuahua and she is trained for puppy pads. It is great at times because she doesnt have to be taken outside every so often but now she is being trained to start going outside. Here is a very helpful link so you can maybe gets an idea of where to start on how to train them to go outside.

answered a question Does anyone provide a discount if you are watching a dog for an extended period of time?

There is an option where you adjust your rates for pet sitting on your profile. There is a place for a discount if the stay is longer than a week so I would tell them that rate.

answered a question Weight/Size preferences?

The only way to avoid a problem like that is to schedule a meet and greet. When the client shows up with the dog in this case, it would be on you weather to turn them down or not. Personally I would take the pet anyways if you do not want a bad rating or for the customer to never return to the website again.

asked a question How do you link your Trustcloud with Rover.com?

From my understanding you can receive a badge by linking your trustcloud account with your Rover account but I can not figure it out. I have been trying to all day but no luck. Can someone please explain to me the process on how to do so or if I am even able to. THANK YOU
