asked a question Rover House Sitters Questions - Bringing their Pets While House Sitting & Time Spent in Client's Home?

I am new to Rover and have made an inquiry for a sitter to come to my home for a Friday through a Monday this summer and have a couple of questions please.

I know and understand many Rover sitters/walkers of course have their own dogs.

As a Rover sitter, do you disclose somewhere in your profile that you bring your dog(s) to a clients house while house sitting? I see many profiles say they have a fenced in yard, which is great for doggy parents who opt to board their dog/puppy for an overnight stay. I haven't found anything regarding a Rover sitter who has their own pet(s) and what they do with their pets when they are house sitting. I can assume the sitter lives with someone and leaves their own pet(s) at home for an overnight stay but I don't want to assume that. Is this something you find out at a M&G? I have a dog who gets along very well with other dogs but it's only been in short 2-4 hours at a time. He's never had another dog stay overnight.

My second question is how much time do you stay at the client's house? The entire time like it's your own home and you stay the night or do you pop in every couple of hours and not stay the night?

Thank you for your honest answer! :)

commented question Why is my dog eating grass?

Have your vet check for allergies. My dog has allergies and eats grass sometimes because of his allergies. He's now on a good allergy medication but when seasonal allergies start in the spring, he tends to eat grass again. That's when we know to give him Benadryl in addition to his regular meds.
