| asked a question | How do I go about addressing damages to my home? I have had a dog staying with us for a few days. When we leave our home instead of crate training we put our dogs in the laundry/mud room - its not a small room and the our dogs our really comfortable there. The owner did not tell us that the dog did not like confined spaces and the dog caused significant damage to my door and door frame. This has also prevented us from being able to leave the home the past week in fear of more damages that would occur so someone is always home. I do not want to upset the owner by asking for reimbursement for damages and I tried to sand down the door and door frame as well as repaint it but it looks terrible. What do I do? |
