answered a question | Cost for watching multiple dogs? I have different rates on my site. I can set the prices for each one. I have one for the Basic Rate $25, One for Extended stays $22, One for Additional Dogs $12, One for Puppies $30. I guess it depends on the sitter and how they set up their price structure. |
answered a question | how can I tell if customer made a payment? It won't show up as a booked visit if it's not paid for. I have had clients accept and pay 30 minutes before they arrived, up until the time they pay, there is no booking. So if they show up and it's not booked you will know. |
answered a question | How do I get paid if the dog stays an extra night? I have had a customer need to stay an additional day, I just book the extra day and send it to them for approval, it's pretty simple. |
answered a question | Does anyone provide a discount if you are watching a dog for an extended period of time? Depends on the Client, what time of year it is and what type of dog, not really :) I'm new to Rover and having clients is my priority so I will discount a longer stay up to $10. I have a Four Legged Family Member (FLFM) who is with us for the next 45 days. My rate is usually $25/night staying for $15. I know if I meet the expectations of the owners they will be booking similar length stays with me. For shorter stays 2 weeks to 4 weeks I charge $22/night. Happy Dogs, Make Happy Clients which means Repeat clients. |
answered a question | Tipping your dog sitter I have been tipped an average of $25 about 30% of the time, the highest being $100, Lowest $15. I don't ever expect a tip, it's nice to get and I appreciate everyone who does tip. |
