| asked a question | Do I need a business license in NJ? I am new to this site but now an active sitter, trying to learn all I can and make sure I am doing the right things. Things like liability insurance and business licenses make it seem very intimidating. I have no income as a stay at home parent, just trying to find a way to help out a little. Not looking to go broke with all these expenses before earning any income. I only expect to deal with one client at a time and up to 2 dogs plus my dog at one time. What do I need for this? |
| answered a question | Why do some dogs seem to dislike affection between a couple? This has been an interesting issue with our labradoodle who sees me as her owner and has reactions toward my wife hugging me or my son hugging his grandparents when they visit. We've never seen this behavior in a dog before. She either growls or nips at people's bodies just to disrupt what they're doing, not to hurt anyone. |

| answered a question | Have you ever used a Thundershirt? If I just harness my labradoodle into the car for local rides, she's whining the whole time. She seems to be nervous even though she wants to go for a ride vs. being left at home in her cage. If I put her Thundershirt on her and harness, I can drive her from NJ to TN for 12 hrs and hardly hear a sound out of her. Inside the house, her behavior changes immediately when I put it on and she's immediately calm. Best money I ever spent on a pet item. |
